Not your pope wrote: “Tell me what the world is saying today and I will tell you what the [Protestant] church will be saying in seven years.” –Pastor Francis Schaeffer author of "The Great Evangelical Disaster" Today the world is saying that two women kissing in public is good and right. What will the Evangelical church be saying about this in seven years?
In seven years time the Evangelical church will have got used to it and then gone back to sleep
Great Sermon! Dr Lawson says at the beginning of the sermon that he hasn't heard a sermon on head covering before, you will find many excellent sermons on this subject on Sermon Audio well worth listening to, Rev Paul Dowling and Rev Stephen Hamilton are recommend. It's a shame we don't hear more sermons on how God should be worshipped in church.Thank you Dr Lawson for an excellent sermon.
Halfway down the article it says " When the reader stops laughing, the reader needs to ask the question whether or not this is in the best interests of the government,in the best interests of the military and the best interests of the country? I think not " laugh! laugh! What is there to laugh at we should all be weeping. Every new day something worse seems to be put forward and passed.
Excellent sermon An absolute excellent sermon has depth yet so easy to follow and so interesting. Perfect for this time of year as the shops around us fill up with useless vanity and madness. Christmass..not for me!
PASTORS, blow the trumpet we are all falling asleep in the pews, so much is happening and only a few putting the warning out, go up to the roof top and SHOUT that people would be awakened out of there slumber, but how can they shout when so many pastors are themselves napping?. In the C of S it's membership that counts not salvation,it's " come in come in we don't mind your sins, we don't look at sin just membership"
Thanks RP, but what do you do when in the C of S the Minister follows the flow and thinks all will be well in a year and a half when the next assembly gathers for the gay ministers debate, a debate that will be no different to the last one,do you stay hoping it will go away or leave and make a stance on the Lords side and this everlasting word. Yes indeed pray on and on.
