How BLIND can people Be??? VERY BLIND unless God opens one's eyes.
This is just more of the false teachers and teachings of our day. Of course, false teachers have always existed.
All one can do is read and study the Word of God. God will reveal to us what HE wants us to know; however, we will never know the MIND of GOD. All HE told us is that HE is coming back and we believe that without trying to figure anything out.

I am not marring anyone else, so my husband can take me back any time he wants to.
No, according to what you have said, you are not defiled; however he IS. It only makes sense that the Word of of God applies both WAYS. Your situation is very sad and my heart breaks for you and my initial comment was not meant to be cruel; I was just quoting what I have always been taught. I am by no means a theologian. God Bless you.
Even though this may be considered a victory, NO one can ever stop or prevent a Christian from praying in Jesus Name. Too much emphasis is always put on public and outward appearance. We Christians know to whom we pray and we realize this is a very private and personal matter.
Dwirkus wrote: The true Gospel is offensive and unpopular. Anyone who promises an easy life to one who only believes enough is a false prophet. Jesus Christ had many followers, but note that many more turned away because of what a hard teaching it was. Having a warm, fuzzy feeling inside is not what Christian faith is about; neither is feeling good about yourself. "Love" is active, not passive. Jesus is much more about mercy than justice. "What you sow, so shall you reap" is not about putting your heart into your career. Jesus also said, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." If you think Joel Osteen is a fundamentalist, I have some swampland to sell you! A fundamentalist is one who believes in the fundamentals of the Bible. A fundamentalist preacher preaches them. Joel Osteen does not. In fact, he never ever even mentions them! He is a "poor" re-run of the "Power of Positive Thinking" philosophy of Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and Robert Schuller.
Thank you for your excellent comment; it consists of absolute truth and exposes a hireling....
Jim Lincoln wrote: But Dessie, looked at Mitt Romney, who admitted he was brainwashed, oops! of course he was a Mormon, and it wasn't about religion! We have many ex-Catholics at IHCC. Now, it is God who will save people and only he, but he is the one that uses us to bring information to lost souls such as Catholics, Anglicans, Methodists, and who knows He may use our comments to help some person whose in a false faith to escape it? Jim, I believe God wants us to stand for TRUTH..
God is in complete control and he will not lose any of HIS sheep.
wife for life wrote: My husband chose another person and another life after many years of marriage and divorced me. Our children and myself are still standing firm in prayer for my husband to return to the Lord, and for our family to be restored.
Sounds real pious; however makes no sense to me..(Deuteronomy 24 1-4).. Please notice verse verse 4....
Divorce accompanied by adultry has also affected a close member of my family and has caused much heartbreak; however I do not believe the innocent person is held responsible and is now free to move on with caution.....with someone new, not the adulteress...

Tony Borrelli wrote: Each day it becomes more clear that Dr. Jones' support of Mr. Romney was NOT an isolated, original reaction to the abject fear of a Democratic president. Obviously, Evangelical,Fundamentalist "leaders" have come together at some point to discuss how they can insure a Republican victory and not appear to be unorthodox in their Gospel message. The answer was simple. Clean up Mormonism! All of a sudden, it's bad, but not that bad. Romney's heart is pure. The angel Morroney's spiritual line runs to Abraham. If you all cannot see that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been sold out by it's most trusted leaders in order to achieve or maintain a perception of political power, then there's a bridge 100 miles North of me in Brooklyn I would like to make you an offer on. "Filthy lucre" is making inroads into the Church militant.
Amen and yes Christ is being sold out! How can people that are so intelligent not understand this? Could it be that God usually deals with the base and weak??? (I Corinthians 1:26-31) However, I realize that this is not all inclusive because intelligence is seen in your comments.

When discussing this subject it very difficult not to use slang...
Are we as Christians suppose to agree with this horrible "BILL"?
God help and protect us against what we will have to face in the future.
Michael Hranek wrote: Dessie Excuse me ...who stood for TRUTH (TULIP)? Have you not read or forgotten somehow: John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Somehow "tulip" is not even on the same "planet" so to speak, and it seems quite disrespectfull of Jesus Christ to speak such a way, think? So, Dessie, would you then preach no one comes to the Father but by "tulip"?
NO Sir, that is not what I said.
BY the way, you might want to read the entire book of John as well as the entire BIBLE. God's electing GRACE is in the entire WORD
John Chapter 6 is an excellent place to start....Ephesians is full of the truth of this doctrine especially chapter 2.
