Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor Hughes. Thank You Lord Jesus for gifting this man to deliver such wonderful sermons. I pray you raise others to preach with the passion this man does. This sermon strikes at the heart of the past 5 years of the lives of myself and many others. Discouragement is a powerful tool of our adversary, but The God who bought us can overcome.
Great Sermon! Can you explain what seems to contradiction in the following passages?
“And he killed James the brother of John with the sword…
But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place…” (Acts 12:2, 17).
James has been killed. What can be shown to him? Are there two James'?
Needs to be heard by every Christian Parent Particularly helpful for home-educators. Every Christian parent would benefit from hearing this sermon. Helpful both to prepare hearts and also provides balm for those who are already undergoing this painful providence of the Lord.
Foundational Issues of Roman Catholic teaching An excellent sermon for understanding the agenda in Roman Catholic teaching has not changed despite current debate and the present Pope. Good for forwarding to RC friends.
Great Sermon! Free Will (as in make a decision for Christ or The Hour of Decision) is quite simply a denial of Grace and of Christ's finished work. It is plain and simple blasphemy. Thank you so much for this entire series. Jon
