If God loves all men, including those who receive eternal life and those who suffer eternal damnation, what does the love of God have to do with anyone’s salvation? 2. If God wills for all men to be saved, including those who receive eternal life and those who suffer eternal damnation, what does the will of God have to do with anyone’s salvation? 3. If Christ shed His precious blood for all men, including those who receive eternal life and those who suffer eternal damnation, what does the work of Christ on the cross have to do with anyone’s salvation? Yep Hi Cliff You do know the U S dollar is not worth the Paper its printed on, no gold backing, just more paper. What a concept you share, maybe thats why its that way, cause the Bible said so, good point. We are commanded to Watch Someone in the Bible said something about a loaf of bread costing a days wages, try living in Destin Fl. That could be the sale price soon.
Andrew Graham wrote: What deep divide. What is happening to the body of Christ? My heart aches for the division of Believers in Christ that are bestowing great sorrows upon themselves. I can understand the defence against Rome's pegan religion, but against other brothers in the faith. Why is the Body destroying itself? I feel religion is begining to rule and tradition over the personal and wonderful walk with the Lord, King and Savior Jesus. Prov 8:31 How many of us can say we hear His Spirit day and daily through God's spoken word's record for us in the scripture. Fellowship, what I thought I would find The Bible nails it Someone in the Bible said something like That day will not come untill there be a great falling away I now see that here, in todays church, in the world And 1 thing left- that man of sin

Amen, Nor should I. Hi JSL, you must be new in town, for you no not our ways. Allow me, this is what we do The second comment above yours (was yours even seen) I will let William Tyndale do the talking on this one, (A dead man, not Gods Word But then you can trust Tyndale, a great man of God, we also like to use other great men of God, like, Calvin, Moody , Weapon of Mass Instruction, Idiot Files, there words will not return void, for they will cause Division, and you know division is how one is saved, right?
he predated Calvinism, which is an outward shew of deeds, filled with the commandments of men. (we don't always agree, its more of a down to earth approach to the Gospel, Another Gospel for the most part, thats what we have fun with around here) man of himself cannot be saved unless he keep the law of God, thorow faith in Christ Jesus ye cannot find it, unless you have a 1526 Tyndale (see) "For this cause the 115th psalm calleth all men liars (We really like to use verses against each other, you know how contradicting the Bible is) LUV

JD wrote: Yes the church and Israel are separate entities as well as the church and gentiles are separate from one another also. Humanity in God's eyes is divided into these 3 groups. However the church is formed from those of the other 2 groups who believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection and are indwelt by the Spirit and immersed into the body of Christ by the same Spirit. Jesus is the beginning of the church and the end of the church, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending. The history of mankind does not stop when the church is complete and raptured but the history of it's formation does end. It is destined to rule and reign with Christ from the heavenly city, New Jerusalem throughout eternity. The nations on earth will walk in the light of that city
JD Thank you, your answer Yes the church and Israel are separate entities as well as the church and gentiles are separate from one another (Trinity?) I really can't argue with your logic. Its clear to me that you have indeed the learnings of some great men. That leaves me at a disadvantage for I have just one instuctor in spiritual matters. So its only logical to retreat. Again thank you JD, if only a few read and understand our comments PRAISE GOD

Believing Jews and believing gentiles make up the church of Jesus Christ. That does not mean that Jews and gentiles will not be saved after the church.

Thanks added site to favs Quick look at site, I'll bet this sums it up, it says: First, because this is very closely related to exegesis itself: if a wrong application or use be made of a verse, then our explanation of it is certain to be erroneous. AMEN For example, Romanism insists that "Feed my sheep" (John 21:15-17) was Christ’s bestowal upon Peter of a special privilege and peculiar honour, being one of the passages to which that evil system appeals in support of her contention for the primacy of that Apostle. Yet there is nothing whatever in Peter’s own writings which indicates that he regarded those injunctions of his Master as constituting him "Universal Bishop. Instead, in his first Epistle there is plainly that to the contrary, for there we find him exhorting the elders or bishops, "Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock Foundation
The Lone Ranger wrote: But not in 2nd THessalonians..."Hold the traditions you have been taught, whether by word or our epistle." So now what do we do? Maybe those scriptures are referring to your cherished traditions.
..."Hold the traditions you have been taught, whether by word or our epistle." The above speaks of the Scriptures for OT. ="Hold the traditions you have been taught" And for the NT= whether by word or our epistle." Why would God want you to hold on to anything of MEN, when He tells you to die. Did He not tell the other MEN to die to self also?

Luker "This may sound like a strange answer but for the purpose of interpreting this scripture (2 Thes 2:7)" Yes it does I leave you with this thought No verse ever stands alone.
" the wicked one is not Satan but antichrist and he is being restrained" yes, untill indwelling, 2Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders
" it matters not who the prince of this world is now but: 1) who is holding back the wicked one 2) who is the wicked one" And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
" If my interpretation is right he is being restrained (at the time of 2 Thes 2:7) by one of the two witnesses And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.
Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 3.5 years These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will power to restrain? Hi Lurker Thanks, and I agree for the most part.
Let me ask you, WHO is the prince of this world, at this time.
When Jesus was tempted by satan did he not say all this I will give thee. How can you give what you don't own.
You help strenthen my point, satan is running the show right now, his only limits are from God. And as those limits are removed satan will LET loose more and more evil into the world. For he is a deciver, the father of lies not a little man in a red suit. Satan is indeed working on his plan, and his PRIDE blinds him to the ending.
There is no broad agreement who "he who lets" is... Your speaking of men, the Bible is clear, don't be decived. When I say God does indeed "letteth, God allows or lets satan only he who now letteth will let, Gods plan of salvation includes satan God knows satans plan, was he not made that way. Satan is that which hinders, Antichrist from making his appearance
