The obstacle (of many) is (and I speak generally) is:
1. They donât know what to do. 2. They go with the flow. 3. They think a degree is necessary. 4. A degree will help their chances of getting a job. 5. Etc
Perhaps we can add on the list that the kids arenât taught to think in advance about these things and parents donât really nurture kids to think about these important decisions. However the kids are without excuse for their lack of thought.
Jim has made multiple racist remarks against âwhiteâ people, he has made pro-death statements, he is not a big fan about receiving correction, he utilizes double standards in his argumentation, etc. etc.
All while claiming to be a Christian. I have offered to debate him over three times on abortion, and I think twice on politics, but he has denied all my offers.
âTruly He taught us to love one another; His law is love and His gospel is peace; Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother, And in His name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name; Christ is the Lord, O praise His name forever! His pow'r and glory evermore proclaim! His pow'r and glory evermore proclaim!â
âReproductive health care is health care,â said Wen. âWomenâs health care is health care. And health care is a basic human right.â
The question should be asked, âBy what standard is that true? Who is the Supreme Being that gives this ârightâ where did it come from? How do you know that this is a basic right?
This is where authority matters, our ultimate authority as Christians, is to be the word of God, that is how He has revealed Himself to us, however for the unbeliever, (such as atheists) they have no ultimate authority, they canât say that health care is a basic human right.
During the holiday season, we have hymns such as âO holy nightâ and âHark the Harold angels singâ but we also have classical music such as âDance of the Sugar Plumb Fairyâ and I think even âCannon in Dâ
But outside of the holiday season, we usually have âNothing but the bloodâ âI can only imagineâ and other hymns.
So thereâs a mixture between the hymns and classical music.
@The Quiet Christian, the Chick Fil A I go to has the picture with Bible verses on it, one from...Ezra 7:10
âEzra 7:10 KJV For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord , and to do it , and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.â
and another from Deut. 6:5
âDeuteronomy 6:5 KJV And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.â
I might add that my fellow coworkers talk about Christianity daily (yes, while working) and when I was in orientation, the instructor taught us the proper meaning of going the â2nd mileâ We also still donât work on Sundays...and thatâs in California đ±đ
