Vogue- have you read a story posted here about the Indonesian Islamic Fundamentalists cheering Obama's win? Achmad Sobry Lubis, sec. gen. of the militant, anti-American Front Pambela Islam said that he 'praised Allah for Obama's win'. He also said that 'Obama's multicultural upbringing should give him the tools to better understand the Muslim world'. You just help usher in a very evil thing, and you in your ignorance, boast!

Vogue- you need to STOP with the accusations and take TIME to actually READ what others post, I said BOTH MEN ARE LOST SINNERS, I never endorsed one over the other...please refrain from misconstruing my post. How is a murderer better than an adulterer? Where in scripture is that defined? You are out of line with all your misguided accusations. I could care less about Obama being President, my King is in Heaven and will soon return in glory. You uphold someone who contradicts the laws and commands of the Most High God! You defend evil, I defend neither man...they are both lost in sin and destined for hell unless God humbles them, draws them to Christ and saves them. What part of that don't you get sir? How can evil be better? I am NOT disappointed over Obama being Pres. I knew this would come to be. God is judging a wicked vile nation economically, and politically. I am a firm believer God is neither Rep. nor Dem. When you put in office men who do NOT fear God, you are asking for trouble. You will regret holding in high esteem a man, any man for that matter, who opposes what a Holy God ordains in His word. You have no clue the darkness that is and will continue to engulf this nation.

Vogue- IF you are a born again Christian, your words "Obama was simply the better man and the better candidate" are frightening. You have no clue the evil that lurks behind those who condone murdering innocent unborn babies, those who condone same sex 'unions'. McCain was not the better choice either, both men are lost sinners. I think it is very unfair and unkind to call Mrs. Palin 'as dumb as they come'. What right have you to judge and criticize? I doubt her claim of Christianity, but rather than belittle her, I pray for the true salvation of her soul. You sir, are in dire need of salvation, the words of your mouth are harsh and spoken in ignorance. If you think God put Obama in office to 'better' America when he opposes the word of God, you are not familiar with Gods word at all. Dark days lie ahead for this nation, but, out of that will come the true followers of the Lamb, and they will be few. "Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8

Lance, GG, -where are you? How do you explain and defend this? The one true 'church' unites itself with Allah?
"I am the Lord thy God, thou shall have NO OTHER GODS before Me". How do you explain the so-called true church of Christ breaking the laws of God and climbing into bed with a false god?
The theme, 'Love God and love thy neighbor' omits this, there is only ONE true God, and the only way to Him is through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is from sliceoflaodicea.com, this Serbian woman writes, 'I have been there when the shackles of Communism fell. I was ecstatic when we finally could preach and sing in public. Do you know what the situation is now-20 years after we got all the freedom? THE CHURCH HAS BECOME LUKEWARM. When we were operating under the threat of being put in prison, when there was constant persecution of the church, the church flourished, people clung to God, people were on fire for God. The freedom brought just the opposite. Think about this as I finish, the darker the night, the stronger our light'. From Emily at sliceoflaodicea.com

I think Ingrid over at sliceoflaodicea sums it up best in saying, 'With George Bush at the U.N. to encourage inter-religious cooperation on an unprecedented scale to solve world problems, and with the bishop of Rome working to solve the little differences between Muslims and Catholics, we're just a few short steps from that one-world religion Barack Obama will need to implement his political/spiritual program for the world. Mysticism in each tradition will tie it all together. You were warned'. Ingrid Schlueter

Everything MUST be kept within the context and realm of scripture concerning sin; if a professing believer commits adultery, or any sin for that matter, and does not repent, they will be held accountable. Luke 13:3,"But, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish".
"Therefore, I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so iniquity shall not be your ruin." Ezekiel 18:30
If anyone who has committed adultery doesn't repent, they stand guilty according to His word, 'so iniquity shall not be your RUIN'.

'I believe' doesn't matter, God's word will stand whether anyone believes or not. God doesn't need yours or anyone's confirmation. When you end your prayer, do you say 'I believe'? Do you trust in yourself so much you believe your words, actions, etc. over God?

Rogerant, I do not wish to get into a 3 day long debate with you. However, I will say this...
I simply stated if this man is guilty of adultery and has not repented, his sin will be counted against him. Christ himself states, 'unless you repent, you will perish'. We must turn from sin, and by His power, overcome.

Amen does NOT mean 'I believe'!
Amen is a Hebrew word that stems from the word 'aman', which means 'to be faithful support or confirm'. The word amen actually means 'so be it' or 'truly'.

Sorry GG, I do not buy into RCC false doctrine, your 'interpretation' of scripture is not biblical. If you cling to your apostate beliefs, you will leave this world and step into outer darkness, where you will be joined by all your precious 'popes', as well as lost sinners like yourself who rejected God's truth found solely in His word, imparted to born again believers through His Spirit. Christ is the sole rock, your propaganda is such so as to keep man-made worship of a pope alive [holy father]. The meaning of Peter's name, rock, is referencing to Christ, the rock of His church, He alone is the head, those who are born again are His bride. I am not looking for the return of Peter, nor is any other true believer, I am looking for the return of my ROCK, the Great Shepherd, the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, who is head of all true born again believers. You are right in saying Peter is head of your church, but your church is NOT the true church.
ALL believers have power to bind and loose {Mat. 18:18}, according to God's word.
Unless you have been baptized by God's Holy Spirit, you are still in your sins. Your heart is not regenerated, you are not a new creation in Christ, your worship is outward, no inward 'cleansing' has taken place, you are void of the Spirit of God.

GG- Where in the verses you gave is pope stated? Christ, the rock, is not a pope. The original language, greek, does not support your theory either. As for baptism, God's word clearly says those who received the gospel are baptized -Acts 2:41. How can an infant, who is unable to speak or understand, respond to the gospel? 1 Peter 3:21 -"the like figure whereunto baptism doth now save us [not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God] by the resurrection of Jesus Christ". In the prev. verse the ark was mentioned, which is symbolic of those saved by water. We are saved in water, but it isn't the water that washes the flesh, but it is the purification of the conscience he is referring to. What water are we saved by? Titus 3:5, 'Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of REGENERATION'...the washing of the heart. The only baptism that saves anyone is that of the Holy Spirit; NO ONE can give that GG, only God.

John Y. -What would be your reason for staying in an apostate church? Do you evangelize those within? How are you getting spiritually fed when the priest is not able to preach the word of God with the power of the Spirit? Why go through the motions, rituals, and routine of this apostasy; why bother? What are you gaining from all this? Is God pleased with you while you sit under false teaching? "Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing. Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the vessels of the Lord" Isa. 52:11
Light and dark do NOT mix John Y.

Lance, you can make your own mind up concerning evolution and it will not affect your church standing, but how will you stand before a Holy God who has given all truth in His word?

So the title and office of pope is man-made, not scriptural, not ordained by God, worthless. BTW, infant baptism is not scriptural either, the word of the Lord says, "So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about 3,000 souls." Acts 2:41. How can an infant 'receive his word', the gospel, and be saved? Water baptism saves no one, it is the baptism of the Holy Spirit that comes with the new birth which saves. "He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit". John 1:33

GG- the word, term, title 'pope' isn't found in scripture, it is just one more of the many lies of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Explain to me the doctrine of regeneration.

GG- could you point out in scripture where the office of pope is established? Where in the word of God is the term 'pope' found?

John Y. - IF McCain is the one who committed adultery against his former wife, then in God's eyes and by the authority of the word of God, he is guilty of adultery and condemned, unless he repents and believes in the gospel. If he is guilty, his former wife has the right to remarry without being charged with adultery according to God's word, but he certainly does not. It doesn't matter what a Baptist preacher thinks, the word of God is the sole and final authority, regardless of denomination beliefs, opinions, or political pull and power.
