" By their intrinsic design and purpose, none animated items portray much more than propositions; say they portray also attitudes, systems of thought and perspectives, which become undesirable if they identify a Christian with ungodly worldviews or philosophies."

How can you prove your first statement? And why in the world would imply every Christian thinks about the clothing, some people just look at it none other than clothing, not every guy stumbles when he sees short shorts, that might be hard to understand but not everyone struggles with the same things.

I'm not sure how Heb. 4:12 fits into your statement, it seems it was thrown in there because if you take into consideration context, I don't see how it makes sense.

Clothes cannot, by nature, be vulgar, they are inanimate objects, that's like saying guns kill people, there's really no difference, I've never heard of clothes being vulgar, I've heard vulgar language, but never have seen vulgar clothes.

You are so focused on the clothing issue you say unusual things to try to prove your point, pastors are worthy of a double honour, why would you use a pastor in your comment? You aught to repent.

As you are offended by these, "vulgar clothes" so I am offended by your speech, all you cry is "vulgar vulgar vulgar" and focus on clothes never on the heart, so that by your own speech you are deemed in error.

YIA, I think the way we treat these animals have been done not per scripture but for convenience or love of money, if you've ever seen footage of stuff like crowed animal cages, it doesn't look right.

If you're going to keep in animal, keep it to the glory of God even if you plan to kill it, if you're going to kill an animal, don't make it die a long death, make it quick.

"Early men hunted mammoths armed with spears.”

Which is why those tribes died off.

Ha! That made me laugh, my favorite was, "Let's eat grandma" but I have a new favorite.

"High standards of conduct anchor in the essence of the first commandment, Connor, not in tangent."

Does that tell me if I can wear a vest or not, that jeans or okay or sinful? Your statement is deceitfully vague dressed in biblical lingo. The question was what is "highest standard of modesty by God's Word"

@Steve I work the register at McDonalds I don't flip burgers.

UP, I like your thoughts on that verse in Job.

" The reality is that some do not have churches at all, but are addicted to this type of Social media as a substitute"

God has given me the ability to sing songs and read verses before our service begins in my church and I'm an usher, I'm writing a tract for my church outreach, I've also created 2 Bible reading plans, was a science teacher for a VBS, and I'm going to be doing evangelism booths at my city's farmer's market, so I have a church and try to get involved. I would do more but health prohibits me, and all these are to the glory of God, in the presence of God.

Not going to say anything else on here.

s c my problem is that you and B.Mc are so concerned about modesty that I fear you forget that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

And I don't overlook immodesty, being immodest is a sin, you should consult the word of God with what you wear.

And can you define what you mean by "highest standard of modesty by God's Word"

I wonder if someone, who had higher modesty standards, called them immodest, how would that fair?

I think the antichrist will have to ask these trolls for counsel on how to talk to or about Christians, for the trolls have mastered the art of Rome.

MS wrote, " BMc, Your continual 'correction' of Connor. "Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise"...Eccle.7:16."

Thank you for defending me, I would put the quote but I might run out of room, I like that quote and ladybug I like that Matthew Henry commentary on the verse I'll have to save that one.

BMC what I was saying is that a Christian can dress perfectly modest and be worse than a Christian who isn't as modest, our first Christian (the super modest one) can be a whore in his/her heart having eyes full of adultery (watching pornography or just lusting after people) and not really spending all his/her time seeking God because he/her is seeking something else.

And the second Christian who isn't as modest can have clean eyes, and seek to fear God. Out of the heart comes blasphemy, adultery, lies, covetousness, and if you don't pray for said people who you think are in serious error, you might not care as much as you think.

I don't view it as poetic justice, rather just Greeks being Greeks, we shouldn't be surprised that a Greek dresses that way.

Now, modesty doesn't equal holiness, or a greater relationship with God, I saw some Mormon ladies the other day, they were dressed how a lady should be dressed yet she doesn't have a relationship with God, I'm just using it as an analogy.

But I would advise not to look at a Christian who might be dressing immodesty and say, "Well they don't fear God (or whatever)" they may very well be God fearing and the Holy Spirit is working on them (sanctification)

We will never fear God as we should, nor love Him with all our hearts, soul, mind, or strength, I think it was John Wesley who said, "What is a perfect Christian? One who loves God with all his heart, soul mind and strength."

The frightening thing is that God knows our heart, it's wicked and evil, we are adulterers, murderers, liars, thieves, idolaters, etc. We need to ask God to conform us to the image of Jesus, heart first.

Those who get abortions (because the child is an inconvenience for them) is a murderer in God's eyes and is worthy of death, it is premeditated murder.

As one Christian man said it best, "Does my comment offend the LGBT community, well they offend me." I don't know if that's the right way of going about it, point is, they'll say, "You're offensive" but if I say, "You're offensive to me, with your Sodomy and trying to get kids to think it's cool." That will be a foreign concept and they'll just say, "Bigot, bigot, intolerant hate speech."
