Jim Lincoln wrote: anyone who considers himself a Christian should Come out of the Catholic Church You're always saying that, Jim. If you consider yourself a Christian, you ought to consider entering the Catholic Church (even if Pastor Gil Rugh disapproves). |

Jim Lincoln wrote: We would wish all Jews be converted to Christianity, q.v., ]]Does God Have a Future for Israel?: A Study of Romans 11, but that doesn't mean Catholicism! It must mean SB, then. |

Angela Wittman wrote: If I were a Catholic, I would be wondering why prenatal child-killing on demand is still legal in the US since the Catholic church reportedly has a majority in Congress. Nothing to wonder about. Most RC members of Congress would be like their fellow US Catholics; they rarely darken the door of a church. They are more concerned about their political careers than their religion. |

Michael Hranek wrote: The Catechism of the Catholic Church Officially Approved by Pope John Paul II 841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, AND TOGETHER WITH US they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.” clearly claims you and they worship the same god, it does NOT say as you claim they intend to worship the same god you do. Yes, but it does not say that Allah is God, for the simple reason that Allah, not being a Trinity, is not a true representation of God. In RC belief (as in your own, I think), God is a Trinity, and any other representation of God is incomplete. |

Anti-antichrist wrote: Even the "totally depraved" heathen can see that x-mas is evil. Yes indeed. Just imagine the perversity of it – people celebrating the coming of Jesus Christ. Whatever will they think of next? |

Jim Lincoln wrote: I would say that Catholic society holds up the evil of celibacy for women as something good, ... No a man doesn't have to become a priest, but the evil of it and its lifestyle is held up as a "good" in the Romanish Church, Tell that to St Paul. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Lance, how does John MacArthur twist the truth in The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood?Lance, I can put another question to you, while it can be said that a man in religious leadership can remain celebrate, though being told that he has to be, of course is satanic, This is utter nonsense for women, saying they are "married to Christ" when they become nuns. He says, for example, that priests target young women in the confessional, suggesting they become nuns. How does he know this? The woman might raise the matter, but the priest is very unlikely to do it.And again: men know that the priesthood involves celibacy. If they don't want celibacy, they don't become priests. No one is forced. And seminarians have about seven years in which to make up their minds. If they don't know after seven years, they'll never know. And "married to Christ" is self-evidently metaphorical and spiritual. Nuns devote their entire lives to Christ instead of to a husband and family. I think there is nothing wrong with that. Even some laymen and -women do it – dare I say, Protestants amongst them. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood. This man appears to be aware of the truth, yet he twists it and rejects it. That is the real scandal; and he preaches it from the pulpit. |
