Just substitute the word, "permanent" or put it alongside "interim" wherever it occurs in the post and it will even be more accurate!

Unless youâre the Interim Pastor of a very small church, chances are better than ever that the members are not unified on many inflammatory political questions of the day;Â younger believers especially hold views radically different than their elders. It may even be that the political divide has contributed to a long history of short pastorates. Interim Pastors who preach on or introduce political causes, views, convictions, opinions or theories into the sermon are going to gain stature with some and lose stature with others. Youâre there to unite the church around its God-given mission, not cause fractures to set in place.

Romans 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace; because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to Godâs law, neither indeed can it be. Bloomberg being a good Jew, works alright necessary part of salvationâ One might also add, a Christian without works probably doesn't have faith.
James 2:13-18 For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, and one of you tells them, âGo in peace. Be warmed and filled;â yet you didnât give them the things the body needs, what good is it? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. Yes, a man will say, âYou have faith, and I have works.â Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

While the entire show is interesting about this demagogue McCarthy, what is really pertinent to this thread near the end of the show. It was pointed out that the news media helps demagogues, because they sell advertising on the news media. Frankie Graham gets covered as much as he does, because he sells advertising. The news media worked hand-in-hand with demagogues, because of the money.
There was one feature of the news media back then, there isn't now though. They had celebrity news casters who were interested in the truth. In fact Edward R. Murrow had much to do with slapping down McCarthyâđ
So, one advantage to using the internet to see the show, you can fast forward to the various sections such as a part on the news media which is probably around 20 minutes before the end, or less, and hear about the effect of the news media.
