Don't disagree with the general tenor of your comments regarding theological discussion. I just would be interested to have a place to see what people think about the original article rather than the same old rehashed debates between Calvinism and Arminianism, Catholicism and Protestantism, Conservatism and Liberalism, etc. that people seem to want to debate on every thread. If the article addresses those, then I am all in.
Unfortunately, I rarely find comments relevant to the original post on Sermon Audio. Comments and theological disputes not directly relevant to the original post ought to be deleted.
Don't forget that the Egyptian midwives were said to have feared God when they lied to Pharaoh about killing Hebrew boys (Hebrews 1:15-20) The text should be enough to silence anyone making a pretense that lying isn't acceptable to protect the innocent. It says "God was kind to the midwives" and he "gave them families of their own" because of this.
