Correct Elmer, vaccinations and immunization are not the same thing. I should have said vaccinations. Agree with your second point.

pen, yes he does. He has repeatedly voiced his plans for forced immunization. SDA's perform abortions in their hospitals as well so they don't have an aversion to using fetal cells in vacc serums. Now, should they ever discover that any swine serum has been added... well, them are fightin' words!

NY Mike, normally I would not have said what I did. Because of my history with the SDA church, I find myself not saying "Oh, I agree with what he said" (which I superficially do most of the time), but instead find myself realizing from where he is speaking from, if that makes any sense... In order to be a "good SDA", you must adhere to specific standards, among those: being a pacifist, confusing the biblical role of men and women (church was founded and supported by EG White and her family, their founder and prophetess), and belief in the "one true church". To me, this is no different than voting in a hardline Catholic or Mormon. I agree with so many of their view points but foundationally there are huge craveses that I cannot ethically and morally fill in.

Now, in all honesty, I probably wouldn't have voted for either King David nor Solomon! Lol! A murderer and an idol worshipper! And yet God's way was, obviously, right! So, again, I am speaking specifically about Carson because of my background with the SDA church.

Mike from FL, JW's are an offshoot of the SDA church.

From their "What We Believe" statements: "He created the universe, and in a recent six-day creation the Lord made “the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them” and rested on the seventh day."

Notice the word "recent". This leaves the door wide open for a plethora of ideas from micro-evolution, to "adaption", and on and on I had been taught that Dino's were made by Satan and were destroyed by God. Their understanding is weak, at best, and they tend to grasp at a lot of straws to make any validity to their assumptions. It was very frustrating growing up hearing "Well, there are just some tough pieces that are a mystery and we may never know!" I have met Dr. Carson a number of times and he is a very, very nice gentleman; articulate, honest and intelligent. I wouldn't vote for him as president if he was the only one running. His doctrinal background cannot produce good fruit, even if it looks tasty. But that's only my humble opinion.

My husband was a quarter master in the Navy and steered the boat blind more times than he can remember. During many drills, he used no electronics whatsoever but relied on charts, sextants and the sky, when available. To this day, he can find direction like no one I have ever known! He is one person who just simply never gets lost!

Old Salt makes a more than valid point - we would all do well to remember the ancient paths and walk in them that we might find rest for our souls. (Jer. 6:16)

pennned, you are 100% correct. Unless God intervenes, the men committing these abominations, those who are seeing evil and doing nothing and the children being preyed upon are on the same wide road, traveling to the same destination. The one true, living God will have mercy on whom He will. Our wretchedness apart from God is simply unspeakably depth-less... We can both pray for salvation and pray for Christ's name to be vindicated from these sadists.

Thank you. Prayer is really all we can do as we found that their belief in "God" is not the God of Abraham, Isacc and Moses. They're seeker-sensitive and actually told us "Would God really want people to suffer?" They are absolutely clueless. Not a good way to hasten your meeting with your Creator. Just heartbreaking! At some point we will have to approach this with our children - what a mess!! I think my husband said it perfectly, "When Christ will look them in the eye and say, 'Depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness,' they will understand their decision..." Dignity should be facing with courage the entire life God has placed before you; your body is not your own. They just absolutely have darkened eyes and there's no more we can say. Makes me shudder.

The bigger picture: eugenics. We murder babies, handicapped, less-fortunate, societal burdens, elderly, seriously ill, undesirables... The box is open and will swallow into the grave anyone it can. We just had a long talk with our grandparents who, heartbreakingly, are moving to Oregon so they might participate in the "Death With Dignity" act should their lives "become a burden" on their family. Heartbreaking! There is zero fear of God and no way to reason with these people!

Several years ago a family of 8 was traveling home from a family Bible camp. They were in a horrible accident. The husband managed to find his wife who had been thrown from the vehicle and drag her to safety. The fire trucks and ambulances were almost on scene when there was a pop and their truck burst into flames; couldn't get near the truck; watched their six children die. As he and his wife were being loaded into the ambulances the husband called loudly, "The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord!"

The were three responders who God has seen fit to save their souls from that experience and countless others who marvel at a faith when life was utterly and completely stripped down to the ugly, raw sinful place we really live in. Maybe we can ask, instead of "Why?", "What would you have me to do?"

Christopher, we all struggle with these questions. May God grant you peace, even if He won't grant your request. For He did say, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful" and I'm finding that whatever the trial, He can give us peace without removing the trial and we will find that indeed His strength is sufficient.

Dorcas and ladybug, we began calling and emailing senators and congressmen for our state as well. A friend of ours in the Montana legislature made a comment to us that I found shocking, although I don't know why; after we talked awhile, it makes sense. He said that PP could be thrown under the bus now. Senators and congressmen could hang their "righteous robes" on themselves and campaign against PP... because under ObamaCare, most of the same processes could be undertaken without so much as a wink or a nod - they, being the doctors who would perform abortions under ObamaCare, would be allowed to abort, dismember and sell babies under the guise of "scientific research/study" - who's going to successfully sue the government for scientific studies? We continue to try to shut this PP butchering station down, at any rate. God will sort it out!

2 Timothy 3:1-9
"1 But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self- control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!
6 For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture idle women burdened down with sins, led along by a variety of passions, 7 always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth, men who are corrupt in mind, worthless in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress, for their lack of understanding will be clear to all, as theirs was also."

These absolutely turn my stomach. To butcher the image of God... The days are numbered, thank God!

“ Great Sermon! ”
...the triumphing of the wicked is short... Job 20:5 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13 Indeed the dark days we live in make us long for the return of the Lord when there will be no more sin to vex our souls.

Her writings have mentored a confused and misguided generation of women to be courageous and strong in the Lord! She was a woman among women; truly a Titus 2 gift to many of us. She will be greatly missed but I am thrilled that she has gone on to her eternal reward!

Wow. The world continues to go mad. Teaching is quickly becoming hazard-pay-ready in some places. You take apart the family though, hand discipline and discipleship over to a third party and, honestly, it just can't go right. So sad for this generation who will have no respect for their fellow humans - the results of love gone cold.

If it was not for Christ! For "who can separate us from the Love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us." Rom 8:35

Cody, you comment is sort of the point those of us excersizing the freedom to not have vaccinations shudder at - "depending on the situation". We have had pertussis go through our house - it was not fun. HOWEVER, our suffering was not in vain.

But this "depending on the situation" argument means there really isn't any freedom, just lip service, and when things get shaky the vacc-crowd goes berserk. If you're vaccinated, then you should be able to safely reside next to my children without worrying about yourself!

People ignor vitamin C therapy which has been proven to cure a miriad of things. Pen's right here - people have stopped thinking and they just spew back whatever the "professionals" say and quit caring about this body that belongs to God. It's way less hassle to just ignor where the vaccines come from, what they contain and the risk versus benefits than research this. Still it should remain the parents choice at ALL times to go either route and that shouldn't be infringed upon.

SF, my thoughts as well. Church is for the feeding of the Body of Christ. Unbelievers may and can benefit from hearing the word, rightly divided, at this time but that is not the point of church service on the Lord's Day. When persecution comes, and the "circus cannot come to town", I wonder how many of these same people will come to sit to pray, repent and seek God's face. Will they even know how? Will they even recognize what's going on because they have been fed from food that is not off the Lord's table but simply satisfied their stomachs and not their souls? You have to question the system when 300 people get baptized at once - I know full well God can move upon any of them at any time and save their souls, and may it be so; but it seems from the article they came for the bull - and that might be precisely what they got, a lot of bull.
