In my experience (and obviously I can only speak of my own), it is the Arminian or 4,3,2,1 point Calvinist who is truly hostile towards ALL 5 points of the Doctrines of Grace and who is less than open to being corrected by God's Word.

Why? It seems Arminians pride themselves in making "a decision for Christ." Why? I don't know. If it were so simple as a mere decision, why didn't BOTH thieves beg for mercy?

Another way I (and only I) interpret this ongoing disagreement is in regards to MARKETING. If a believer espouses Limited Atonement which the KJB teaches, and shares the gospel with anyone willing to listen, he dares NOT pressure anyone to perform an act as a validation of receiving the message.

I contrast this with an Arminian. False churches grow because preachers don't limit Jesus' atonement and cast their nets wide hoping for a huge catch. The preacher "feels good" that he delivered a good sermon, the listener who "makes a decision for Christ" also "feels good" about himself and the treasurers "feel good" that they can add to their numbers those who "prayed the sinners prayer."

Jacobus Arminius' heretical teachings are for the "lovers of themselves" camp. You know, those who "invite Jesus into their heart" even though THIS IS NOT FOUND IN THE KING JAMES BIBLE.
