Great Sermon! This sermon is very good. Although I'm sure it will offend many, both believer and unbeliever, God is glorified and that's as it should be. Thank you Pastor Steve for not shrinking back from the hard truth of the gospel, the things people don't want to hear.
Great Sermon! I really appreciate this lesson on dispensationalism. I didn't know how horrible it was until I heard this. Wow, the gospel is set up as a test that we will fail??? Excellent teaching here, not hard to understand and very informative. Thank you Pastor Garrick!
Great Sermon! I had never before heard of the grace evangelical doctrine or society, I'm glad to be warned about them. Good message here explaining the error held by many and the truth of God's preservation and the perseverance of the saints. Thank you Pastor Dan, I'm blessed by this series on Hebrews, I've been listening every week.
Great Start to a Great Series on Hebrews! So many good points made in this sermon, it's hard to make a comment on just one. I appreciate the way this pastor makes me think about the past and the present in regard to what's being said. I also appreciate the warnings to be heeded, the connections between the O.T. and the N.T. and I've learned some things I didn't know before. Thank you Pastor Dan! This series is going to be such a blessing, we a SGBC will be praying for you.
Encouraging Sermon! This is a very encouraging sermon. Many Christians will say, Rom. 7, and other believers will know what they mean. Well it's good to have it explained by a humble man of God who can confess even his own struggle.
Great Sermon! There is such a difference between those who fear the Lord and those who don't. We know we should fear the Lord properly but what does that really mean? I asked myself that a lot over the years. I'm grateful for this encouragement and for Jerry Bridges book, which I hope to read soon.
Encouraging Sermon! I'm blessed to be reminded of the power of God's word. Many good points are made and many Scriptures used in this lesson. We must indeed be careful what we believe about God's word. Many today do act like God's word needs our help, sugar coating, if you will. It really is sad and it really is a disgrace to our Lord who bought us.
Great Sermon! I think it's hard, at least for me, to understand justification as a one time act for the saved sinner because it goes against my sinful flesh. I keep trying to deserve what I already have, "acceptance" from God. Christ accomplished this but my flesh makes me feel like I need to add to what He has already done. I end up with filthy rags of unrighteousness instead of good works to the glory of God. Oh, to rest in Christ. Oh, to be out of this body of flesh. Come quickly Lord Jesus! This is a good sermon.
Great Sermon! This sermon has been such a blessing to me, I hope I will always remember what I learned from it. How great is our Father who is in Heaven!
Great Sermon! There is an excellent list of reason, given in this sermon, that the Sanhedrin may have come up with to accuse Jesus at His illegal trial. It's amazing that they finally settled on a charge that they knew was false by their own words in Matthew 27:63. I'm reminded of what Jesus said in Matthew 12:36,37 "“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”"
Great Sermon! There is just not enough preaching/teaching on this beautiful way to worship God. I'm so grateful for this lesson. Thank you Pastor Beamer.
Great Sermon! This Pastor says that understanding personal pronouns is good theology, it's true! It is good. I think a lot of mistakes are made by not paying attention to them. Excellent insight, here, into the minds of the Pharisees. They didn't want God, they wanted what was God's. I love this sermon. What grieves the heart is the depravity of men, it's so very, very bad. O, but for the grace of God, go I. How merciful is our God to seek and save sinners. How merciful is our God to take the most heinous sin and work it to His glory.
Excellent Sermon! This is a powerful sermon! Overall, I'm in awe of God's wisdom, power and sovereignty working together to open and close eyes at just the perfect time to accomplish His will. Specifically, I was brought to tears when I heard about the ephod and the names thereon and how the priest went in once a year. A picture of our High Priest. I was also moved how this sermon brings out the very personal nature of our salvation (Jesus stopping for one man) this sermon makes that very evident. Jesus didn't die to make salvation a possibility but a certainty for those He loves. All glory and praise to Him!
Great Sermon! I love that God controls the nations, what comfort! A very good perspective, to keep in mind especially with a presidential election coming, is taught at the end of this message.
Great Sermon! This is a very good sermon. I like the clear, straightforward, commonsense teaching on a topic that has caused a lot of controversy since the Lord's first coming.
Great Sermon! This is an excellent sermon on some often misunderstood verses of Scripture. There are many good points made by Pastor Marquedant. May we apply ourselves more heartily, than the world does to worldliness, for the Kingdom, for the King, for the glory of our Great God! "If we are not faithful in the little things we are not faithful at all."
