Does Sodom have anything on America? A population that uplauds sodomy. The slaughter of the most defensless inside the womb. Profiteering from that slaughter. A government that murders people at home and abroad. The continuing apostasy of its churches. Denial of justice to the poor and weak. The day of reckoning is coming and America, thou art being fattened for the slaughter.

I am ashamed of my Marine Corps. We took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemeies both foreign and domestic. Now they only seem interested in defending the interests of GE, Coca Cola, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Disney, Monsanto, Google and the rest of the New World Order, and if you are a serviceman or woman serving Christ, then you don't serve their purposes and are nothing but a booger in their nose. And this is pretty much the way this woman has been treated. Where is the Commandant on this and other issues plaguing the Corps lately?!?!? Where is the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps on all this?!?! Have they become a couple of office ornaments in the Pentagon while the honor of the Corps is sinking fast? I wonder.

Wolf with no clothing. Witch with a dirty old broomstick. When you see bill and Hillary Clinton you see the butchery of Jezebel and the effeminacy of Ahab that has become too emlematic of the men and women of the USA.

I know he would not have commended Ravi Zecharias if he knew he was going to speak alongside the Pope @ Together 2016. I sometimes wonder if all this obsession with the intellectual is what keeps Zecharias from separating from apostasy.

Let's see. Minister (Tim Keller) who can't figure out what happens to those who die without Christ, presents a possible option of trap doors to heaven other than the one Way, Truth and Life, and warns that to say that sodomy sends you to hell is misleading; Bible conferences that resemble Pink Floyd concerts; urges to encourage voting for Hillary Clinton who is largely influenced by the writings of Saul Olinsky who was a Satanist; regular donors of Bernie Sanders; Am I missing anything? Probably plenty. I just luuuuuv New Calvinism!!

And for those trying to avoid persecution by standing for Christ, there will be the incessant banging of the Romans 13 drum. Bang, bang, bang. Over and over and over.

Personally, if a sports franchise threatened to leave my state if the governor signed into law a bill passed by the state legislature protecting pastors from having to perform sodomite weddings, and I was a fan of that franchise, it would take all the desire away from ever rooting for that team again. And no "meat sacrificed to idols" loophole could change that. Although I must admit that since my conversion, my interest in spectator sports has largely vanished. That being said, I must commend the state of NC for not buckling to the entertainment industry. As Christians we live IN the world and are not OF it. We separate from the world.

2Co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

The conservatives should be walking out of the denomination altogether, being that Anglicanism is nothing but one huge rotting corpse.

Let's see if any if its orthodox ministers and churches separate out of the denomination. Sadly, I won't be holding my breath.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
So, fg, Conservative black Christians are not under attack? The fellow would have made a better point if he hadn't brought up the question of race at all.
I would suggest you read the following, ]]https://www.gty.org/resources/print/sermons/90-150 ( The Responsibilities of the Church: Evangelism, Part 1) , from which,
" If a young person says to me, someone starting out in ministry, "I want to start a church," what they're really saying by the time I get through with the discussion is I want to go out and evangelize lost people, bring them together under the name of Jesus Christ and establish a congregation where there isn't currently one, or there isn't one faithful to the word of God and the gospel, that's the issue. The goal is to make disciples. It is to win lost people to Jesus Christ. That's the passion of the church."
Conservative Christianity have nearly collapse because of its political activities.
When the emphasis in the church was doctrine and living to the glory of God, evangelism was more effective and the churches saw more true converts. But since evengelism has become the priority, the message has become more subjectivized.

Amen!! Thank you for your encouraging word. Nations are but a drop in the bucket but his word endures forever. Thank you also for not being a pulpit ornament twice on Sundays and preaching with fire.

Jim Lincoln wrote:
My pastor skipped a sermon that would be part of a series to discuss this topic and point out that,
Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. ---ESV

My immediate first thought upon hearing of these events was "Oh no! Now they've got martyrs for their cause too!' Sorry if this sounds pharisaical. Pray for me then. My soul is pretty well tortured these days. We also need to pray the Lord would minister to us as he did Asaph in Psalm 73.
Psa 73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
Psa 73:14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
Psa 73:15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
Psa 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Psa 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Psa 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
Psa 73:19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
May the Lord impress our souls with this sobering reality, that we may posess the mind of Christ, and keep a proper perpective regarding these things.

I might be more open to this if in trying to deal with "KJV onlyness" he wouldn't do it by launching into a constant barage against the KJV itself.

For crying out loud the man was just making a point! That certain people have been zeroed in on to be discriminated against! Do we HAVE to overanalyze it and turn everything into “watch out for racism”?!?! And must EVERYTHING in church life center around “witnessing”? Evangelism has been the priority in the church for the past 150 years or so. And since then, with rare exception, the church has seen nothing but decline, and has never been more powerless and undiscerning at any time since the Reformation. Christ’s last word to the church was NOT the Great Commission. It was REPENT!! (Rev. 2:5; 2:16; 3:3; 3:19) Repent from loving the world more than Christ, from loving the lost more than the brethren, from loving the compromise of the evangelicals in Nazi Germany and hiding behind Romans 13, than taking a stand for Christ and being persecuted.

I used to live and work in NYC for years and I could'nt even imagine ever leaving there. Now I hang my head in shame for NYC. But she's just going the way of the rest of our national Babylon, which I am also ashamed of.
