Folks have been doing this kind of thing to Jesus for the past two millennium. You just have to be able to tell what's the real thing and what isn't - that's why He left us His word.

Amen QC! All the efforts of the mind are useless unless sanctified and used by the spirit of God! I can think of countless examples from my own life observations and from history of folks who had an education/discipleship that was far better than mine and yet turned out to be wicked failures (Judas being the epitomy of this). I've also seen the complete opposite. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it."

I think the kind of cardinals that hang out at bird feeders would do a much better job than these freaks.

Jimmy, I'd like to attempt to show you the utter foolishness of your statement, but as in the past, it's a waste of time. Take Plain Old Tim's advice.

The Quiet Christian writes:
"BDF, I dare say your parents didn't have any nonsense in your homeschool curriculum for you and Just A Guy and the rest of your brothers and sisters."

No sir we didn't (and don't). I would say the greatest educational gift my parents have given us is not so much a Christian curriculum but the ability to think in terms of God's terms - a biblical worldview. Even most christian curriculums are simply sprinkled with a few grains of christian salt rather tham teaching christian, critical thinking. Because of this, even when some nonsense did sneak in to the material we used, we spotted it and interpreted it properly. Sometimes my parents (and brothers đŸ˜‰) tell me that I turned out a bit more radical than intended. If I can do for my children someday what my parents did for me, I'll call it success! And yes Plain Old Tim, we have a lot of great books on small-scale farming. These books do discuss the breeding of waterfowl, but since it happens that
all ducks are straight, it's not an issue.

Didn't Jesus say something about a millstone and the bottom of the sea one time? For some reason this article brought that to mind.

Speaking of Catholics again, it's interesting to note that six of the Supreme Court justices are Roman Catholic, two are secular Jews, and one is Episcopalian. Bearing Proverbs 1:7 in mind,I'd say they all have a poor starting point for their jurisprudence.

Duh! Witchcraft has been made out to be cute and fun in movies and television for decades. And as a theme in American entertainment, it's only growing in popularity. Just look around and Walmart and see what I mean. Especially at this time of year.
What the article said about humans being spiritual creatures couldn't be truer. Atheism never lasts through generations - eventually men and women try to fill the void and get back in contact with the spiritual world - and Satan and His minions are always ready and waiting to whisper their lies in itchy ears. My generation is falling asleep into a nightmare that they won't be able to rouse themselves out of. Pray that God will send an awakening!

Amen John UK. We should not be surprised in the least by satanic people invoking satan. Perhaps we should be surprised when they don't. There is a Holocaust going on in this world with an aspect of wickedness that far outweighs Hitler's evil- it's victims are helpless, silent, and will never live to recount the horrors they experienced. But God hears their cries and will avenge the blood of innocent. He promises it.

I and my two older brothers (one of whom happens to be Just a Guy just in case y'all didn't know) watched this whole thing yesterday. Kavanaugh, though conservative, made very clear his support of feminist ideals and Roman Catholicism. He's just a mainstream conservative from what I can tell, and certainly not a Christian. But hey, I think he'll do better than Kennedy did. As long as the unborn and biblical marriage is defended, I think we're making progress. We shall see.

No ancient Rome was in Georgia. It's still a spot on the map by Atlanta. That's where the apostle Paul wrote the letters to that small town in the far north of my state called Corinth.

One aspect of the Mormon cult that most folks are unaware is what their book says about world history. It makes the claim that North America was once inhabited by a race of white people (as a Mormonism is inherently racist) much like the nation of Israel. What should be disturbing to them is the fact this civilization, though lasting a long time and having all the aspects of ancient civilizations, didn't leave a trace of archeological evidence behind. If you read the book the book of Mormon you'll shocked to find that the garden of Eden was actually in Missouri! No kiddin'! (and that's just one of the many examples from this ridiculous account)

Apparently Jim has no shame when it comes to espousing the abominations of the day. Whether it be lust, abortion, institutional theft, heresy, or dishonesty, he makes few exceptions. Just as the tens of millions of other dead souls in this nation, what's needed is repentance. God's free offer of salvation is ever present for the damned soul.

Yeah Jim it sure does seem strange that a cult would want drugs around? Cults and their members always have "honesty and integrity" as you told me in a previous post. But I wouldn't worry about it if I was you. Once public health care gets institutionalized, drug abuse, pain, poverty, divorce, hate, and every other blight on the human race will dissapear.

The liberals use to be much more careful and calculated about their socialist takeover. It's good to see them getting ahead of themselves. Hopefully they will create more PR nightmares for themselves and show their supporters that they are the the party of oppression and injustice.

Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes:
"I have to admit many times Mormons are considered strange because of their honesty and integrity, but I don't think I would call them spooky."

The only mormon I've ever met was spooky, dishonest, and did not have integrity. My dad did some construction stuff for him and got stuck by him. But then again, I would expect nothing else from you than an advocacy of the wicked.
