The real truth is many homosexuals are not happy with the way they are. They feel trapped by the feelings they have and many hate themselves. This is the reason why they desperately want society's acceptance because then they can accept themselves.
Homosexuality is a sin, an afront on God, just as adultery and fornication is. No matter the sexual sin mankind wants to be accepted despite it. Only by turning to Christ for salvation and then having the power of the Holy Spirit reside in the life of a person can sin be tamed and controlled.
We as the church should continue to pray for these folks and warn our children to not go down the road they are paving.

For me the only reason I believe pastoral ministry is male exclusive is because I see the Scriptures as teaching this. To be honest I wish it wasn't in the Bible, but God never gave me a vote. There are women who love Jesus more than I do, are better leaders, have more intelligence, and would be better pastors than I am. While saying all this, I begrudgingly stand by my belief that women should not be pastors.

Friends,
We in the Christian community are being set up to take the fall for many of the ills of society. We were blamed when Rome burned and as our world burns we are being blamed again. We can't give up on absolute truth found in God's unchanging Word. We must not cow tow to societal and political forces or Jesus will take away our lampstand. May God grant us the courage and conviction we need to live in such times as this.

I would assume their troubles started when Schuller let his son go. Any church who has a father son squabble is probably going to have trouble.
The doctrine of this church and pastor has bothered me for over 24 years. When I first became a Christian I read the book, "The Seduction of Christianity" and it talked about Schuller.
I agree with the brother above. They probably should have liquidated assets so creditors got paid. That is the most Christian thing to do.

The problem with Yoga is it puts you in an altered state of conscience. The danger in this is that you are suggestable. This is why hypnosis can be very dangerous. I would say believers should stay away from Yoga. If you want to relax, take a Calgon bath. Calgon take me away!!!!

With the Emergent Church, Seeker Church, and Purpose Driven Church being comprised of most of this growth, it makes me wonder where believers are going to go to find a church that preaches the Word? I pastor a rural church of about 60 folks on a Sunday Morning. We rally around God's Word and the fellowship of the Saints. I wouldn't trade them for all the cutesy churches in the world.
