Matthew 24:43 "But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up."
One might ask, would not this also apply if the thief came to steal lives, and the house happened to be a meeting house? One might ask, what is it that is clearly implied when it is said the goodman, being alert, would not have allowed it to happen?

Not to worry, Carl. The ones who have benefited don't need the media to tell them how they are doing, and it will be reflected in the voting booth. The media's efforts at controlling/manipulating information will have as much effect as Jim/Lincoln's has.
Issues of race are important to liberals. "Race remains a potent and often divisive force in our society" said the previous president. He was right. Liberals need it as the divisive issue it is. Chaos and division is part of their agenda to maintain problems only they can "fix."

You also have a happy something, Adriel. Hope your family "bug" leaves for Florida soon!
Why don't we just call it Wednesday and be done with it? There is no biblical warrant for naming today for the Germanic god Woden, but we should be able to call it something without becoming pagans in the process of doing so. Happy WĹdnesdĂŚg, everyone.
From the news: âMommy, they said that we're going to die in eight years.â Thatâs what Joylaea Blazevik, a distraught eight-year old, told her mother, Lejla Blazevik, following a presentation on global warming at her school, in Toronto, Canada. âThey were terrified with the information,â Mrs. Blazevik told the National Post, a major Canadian newspaper."
I wonder if Mommy did her right motherly duty, and tell her daughter that there is something terribly wrong with Greta, which makes her tell lies?
MS wrote: Thank you Rodney. Quite surprising that only 4 brethren could stop by and praise GOD for His mercy and grace to one of His own, and crickets from the rest, but plenty of engaging in useless political rhetoric. Bah humbug!
Why would you assume God was not praised for the good news you posted just because some didn't do it in text?
It's funny how often it is heard God puts in high office those he wants there, but then we also hear how awful they are, and they shouldn't be there. Seems like that complaint should be sent God's way, rather than to Christians for the purpose of encouraging them not to vote for him, because after all we shouldn't stand behind and blindly support immoral people, should we?
Dyle, do you have evidence to support the claim that Trump "is a president who is an ungodly fornicator"? Is your use of the present tense indicative of present reality?
Frank, is Trump an immoral buffoon today? I seem him as crude, rude and in your face, while doing some national good, and I have to say I prefer that to the back-stabbing country-transforming "presidential" smiles of a previous president.
James, well said.
Joel, as you said many nominals confuse the kingdom of God with politics. By their expectations, though, many others confuse the presidency with the Church. Is there a difference?
Jim Lincoln wrote: excerpt from, "How to Track President Trump" https://tinyurl.com/wr5357 Following Trump around on this particular day would have been highly boring. Just golfing and eating most of the time.
You're not clueless, Jim. Why do you pretend to be? And why are you daily criticizing a sitting president? Do your principles of restraint change based on who's in the White House? Situation ethics to live by?

Just for fun, Jim, you should try connecting the dots you post. Pregnancy is not a sickness, Start there before talking of healthcare that allegedly prevents abortion.

Noted in your posting were the words "far right" by the CT writer. What else do we need to know? His language gives away his leftist liberalism, thus his faulty, no evidence, position. This ain't rocket science, Jim. Well maybe to libs.
Jim Lincoln wrote: --- Stever, as George Will point it out, yes taking the fifth an honest person doesn't take the fifth, in fact taking the fifth generally means a person is guiltyâ
Burden of proof is on the accuser. So far, evidence is sorely lacking. Not likeing Trump's tweets is irrelevant. Abuse of power is what we've seen from the House of Reps. Like spoiled children they demanded their way while they we're conjuring up articles. Now Nancy wants the House to have its way in the Senate. Lunatics. The phone call between Trump and Ukraine man is available for those who have ears to hear. You know this, Jim. You're wasting your time with your trash talk.
When you listen to Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and the other Dems talk, remember they may be doing what the psychologists call projection. They put onto Trump and Repubs the very things they themselves are guilty of doing. They look down their Pinocchio noses at others for their own darkness. The only question is, are they really that unaware of themselves, or is it just a technique they are practicing?
