I'd say a tenative 'alright' as well because it the SCOTUS ruling does need to be discussed but I don't think his 40 questions took things deep enough, for example: "Does God our Creator have the right to decide what is right and wrong and punish those who take His Name in vain and rebel against Him?"

Also I was 'troubled' how he refered to Augustine, Aquina, Calvin and Luther lumped together with no kind of disclaminer or warning as Scripture tells us in Psalm 1 'Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly...', seeing the first 2 are clearly Roman Catholic (the RCC is infamous for being ungodly (not taking Scripture seriously, redefining it to fit their religion) and antiChrist (assuming you have heard of Mariolatry and how it is serious sin against Jesus Christ))

So my question for all of us is: "How (not how maybe if ...) would you proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to someone who is homosexual, what would you tell them about the Bible, God, Jesus Christ, Creation, Man, the fall, about God's commandment, His Righteousness and Punishment, the CROSS, the BLOOD, Repentance, Faith, new birth?"

Oh, please. Get over yourselves and stop thinking you all have Satan and the hoards of hell under your feet and at your control with your crucifixes and littlle bottles of magic water. A house divided cannot stand. Satan cannot cast out Satan, although, he can give the appearance of it in order to trick people into believing a particular cult, false religion, ministry, or person, etc, is of God. They recently exorcised Mexico...how's that working out for them? Jesus I know and Paul I know, but who are you?

On another thread there was a report of internet trolls, my words here, experts in disinformation and malignment of those speaking the truth in an attempt to discredit or light off of who and what they were exposing.

My compliments to you as you have drawn their ire once again.
Blessing to you, keep it up as the Spirit leads.

Probably not the best news thread to post this but here goes anyway.

I am purposing a real genuine flag burning Sunday. No not the rainbow flag, and no not the CBF either. I purpose we burn the white flag of surrender (meaning surrender to the world, to sin and to Satan, to false teachers, false Christianity and to false religions, to political correctness, non-Biblical theologies, ungodliness, Bibical ignorance, antinominism, throwing away books, videos, music, that is nothing but ungodly trash, things like that etc.

This would and/or will take much sould searching, humble praying, mourning over our own sins and cowardice and real repentance, and seeking the face of God, seeking the filling and present day ministry of the Holy Spirit, to have the courage to be a martyr if needs be, to be genuinely obedient to His will

Disclaimer I in no way endorse nor approve of anthing inappropriate in the video that said: Do NOT WATCH if you are overly sensitive!

It is ironic that secular comedians saw the insanity years before the SCOTUS "ruling"
(btw will rainbow flags be welcome at NASCAR?)

Exodus 20:7 this time in the NASB

Considering how one of the deacons in my church was shocked/heartbroken of how ignorant and untaught young people are today of the Declaration of Independence I wanted to post a link to an excellent 11 minute clip on the Declaration.

I trust it will be a blessing

I do not believe in batismal regeneration. Neither do I believe that all infant are saved because they are infants, which would be a works righteousness.

You believe not having had opportunity to commit actual sin they are not therefore guilty before God in Adam?

If an infant was to die in infancy his salvation would be dependent on a secret work of the Holy Spirit related to his election.

Whether he had the external sign of the covenant of grace; yea or nay, before death is not the issue. He is no more or less saved either way. It would only depend on GOD'S election of grace and the Spirit's regeneration.

Mourner
Thanks for explaining your way more clearly. To be honest I think there is some overlap between you and I and some areas I through disagree with your premise.

For one I believe in believer's baptism not infant sprinkling

For another is:
Deuteronomy 24:16
"Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.
in your Bible or not?

If it is why then are you claiming some infants will be put to death for Adam's sin? And why also are you claiming a secret work of the Holy Spirit but only for some infants

Let me ask you a simple question
Where will Jesus return physically to this earth?

Sorry, I just cannot agree with your premise, have you somehow been influence by replacement theology and anti-Jewish RC influences? Do you not know Jehovah's hand on the Jewish people, even in their unbelief, is a major witness of who God really is?

Let me recommend:

and that is what I long to see in FG and others who are in the public spot light.

I think you have to know it is so easy to criticize those who are in grieveous error and be so poisoned against them it become impossible to see any good whatsoever in their efforts. I would pray God leads FG out of the errors of the BGEA BUT ALSO that He lead him not into self-righteous judmental PhariseeISM either.

Brief testimony:
I recently witnessed and gave the Gospel to a RC man, who because he has listened to so many different religious opinions and had knowledge of them told me something I value (and it won't make me ever return to the RCC) it was this:

G - God's
R - RIGHTEOUSNESS
A - At
C - Christ's
E - Expense

Saying (repeating) that did not make this man a genuinely born again Christian but his being a RC did not make the comment he made wrong, bad or evil. Personally I thank God for letting me hear it through him. It will be something I will treasure.

So what about dear FG?
Demand his stoning?
Become his follower?
How about something else, humbly thank God for anything he says that is right, and pray that God lead Him and others out of the mess of the BGEA and into the Truth

You have touched on something very important, that of not abandoning ones post that you can be replaced with a devil.

Didn't Jesus tell us about hirelings abandoning the sheep to the wolf?

Please do prayerfully listen and then include this in your thinking and praying:

Look at Saul of Tarsus and be encouraged to pray that God gives FG his own Isaiah 6 moment

for that matter let's not give up on other preachers either but pray for them that God would have His Whitefields, Spurgeons, George Muellers, Elijahs, John the Baptists, Stephens and Philips even the lowelist saints filled with the Holy Sprit coming out of their own upper rooms on fire for Jesus Christ in this day. I don't know who this "re-established and self declared Israeli Sanhedrin" might be (certainly men we ought to be praying for that they be saved) BUT that said they are certainly correct in seeing Francis 1 has done Israel and Jewish people a horrible wrong. The land does not belong to him or the Palestinians, United Nations or Obama either, it belongs to Israel, God gave it to them.

And all that said, we need to pray for the Jewish people (who else will?) that they repent of their rejection of Their Messiah, their sins against God and receive Yeshua the Messiah by faith to be saved by Him and for Him and in Him alone have eternal life to the praise and glory of the Grace of God.

And since I am running on a bit here, please remember Jesus Christ wept over Jerusalem. He cares for the Jewish people and so we ought to as well (Satan and his horde certain don't)

I actually had one of these vignettes acted out in reality and you may have experienced the same thing - in church we were asked to read out a psalm aloud. Well everyone had a different bible version and what ensued was a melee of sound -

1 Corinthians 14

I can actually tell very quickly whether someone is preaching from a non authorised text and the power is not in these bibles.

Mike, part of this thought process probably needs to be a mixture of repentant believer and fueled by a holy anger against sin. As citizens of this nation we are still entitled to certain rights too present Christ and provide a christian community that reflects the love of the brotherhood , in spite of hatred of the world. But to get there, we need to grieve for our sin of taking God's kindness so thoughtlessly .
I agree with you there is much the Christain community needs to grieve over about our own selves and repent of, and imho all that will become clearer and clearer the more we seek God and pursue obedience to Him.

Hey! Persecution, real persecution is something that is pretty much new to all of us in the US and UK.

I am working through a lot of thoughts on the matter. Here are some of them.

One, judgment on the U.S. is a certainty and along with that it seems safe to say persection will be more than real too.

So, we need to rediscover if you will real (not perfunctory) mountain moving , rain stopping, miracle working praying (Elijah) and real soul winning too even if that means martyrdom (thinking Whitefield and/or the underground church with believers like Brother Andrew).

Who is adequate for these things? Only those whose sufficiency is God Himself. So much to learn and grow in.

1517
Judge Roy Moore of the great Southern State of Alabama has taken a bit of a different stand (Please note this as well to sware to defend the Constitution would be to stand against those out to destroy it, even the current resident of the 'Rainbow House' and the SCOTUS too. But still I would have to look long and hard at the actual 'oaths' being used today. You might be right they may have been diliberately changed.

Mikey Wienstein's views maybe vitriolic , but they work within the military apparatus in the United States. I agree with 1517, every true Christian is better off removing their uniform, as my fear will be that after we've been utterly decimated in however battle field this nations troops will be assigned as occupier of our nation. Our nation is babylon and the president iis Nero. The very act of instituting gay marriage was ceasing the competency of the soul of man.
Question: Is it better for those in "office" (either civil or military) to stay and respectfully refuse to obey ungodly (& unconstitutional) orders.

I asked because it seems there is a whole lot of resigning going on (is that easier and more productive than to stand up against evil?)

Imho here it is like we need a civil war in the church first. We are not going to be strong and about the Lord's will if the enemies of the Cross are embraced into MEMBERSHIP in our congregations. It just will not work (bear fruit) worse it will corrupt Biblical faith and Loyalty to Jesus Christ, like it has already in the Pro-Roman Catholic, Seeker Sensitive/Purpose Drive, Emmergent and Ecumenical (sometimes even interfaith, pro-homosexual and pro-abortions) HATE TO USE THE WORD "churches"

I trust you understand that we do indeed as best we are able to welcome as visitors we do care about (not approve the sins and errors of, nor coddle any different gospel in) and preach The Gospel of Christ to them, even if they hate us and leave enraged against us because we stand unapologetically for the Truth and for genuine Biblical Holiness (2 Cor 6:1-7:1)

Woe! To those who are at ease in Zion

Dolores
Yes, I believe that too, we have passed a point of no return and now the only thing to do is Seek God and walk with Him through it and while we do Seek to be used to save as many as possible.

I guess my prickly Reformed ears perk up when I see blanket statements. Thanks for the clarification.
