"Last year, RAF Nimrod intelligence-gathering aircraft tracking Taliban radio signals in Afghanistan heard insurgent fighters speaking with Yorkshire and Midlands accents.

As well as fighters joining their ranks, groups such as Lashkar also benefit from funds raised on their behalf in the UK by the Muslim community"

The liberal attitude of politicians and bureaucrats in Britain, has removed authority from our institutions and society to such an extent, that immigrants are allowed to retain their evil philosophies. Indeed more so, they are allowed to cultivate them. But this is not unique to Britain, it is to be seen as a western weakening of law, moral law and ideologies that provided fortitude to the west.
During these recent decades the west have become weak and a variety of mongrel groups have been able to attack with varying successes.

The first authority the west gave up was the Bible.
The first institution the west gave up was the true Church and her doctrines.

""Sin," saith he, "is crucified; it is fastened to the cross." To what end? "That the body of death may be destroyed," the power of sin weakened and abolished by little and little, that "henceforth we should not serve sin;" that is, that sin might not incline, impel us with such efficacy as to make us servants to it, as it hath done heretofore.
And this is spoken not only with respect to carnal and sensual affections, or desires of worldly things, -- not only in respect of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, -- but also as to the flesh, that is, in the mind and will, in that opposition unto God which is in us by nature." (Bruised Reed. Richard Sibbes)

Rom 6:6 "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."

Apparently this emerging church would rather teach the sinner to serve the sin!

"..... scientists, teachers, clergy and grassroots activists — took the side of evolution,...."

"clergy"???

Obviously not Christian clergy.

Heb 11:3 "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

Statement for the CofE/RCC bishops who are the modern pharisees of today.

Matt 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

"The meeting is held in line with the mandate of the International Anglican-Roman Catholic Commission for Unity and Mission, a joint commission of bishops"

Where Liberalism meets the antichrist.

WOE unto these modern pharisees who do not know the Son of God.

1John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

"Gay and lesbian couples here said they are attracting fewer startled looks when they rent cars, less consternation when they hold hands, fewer awkward questions when they visit spouses in hospital rooms."

Satan always did prefer the subtle approach.
"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made"

1Cor 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
= Man and wife/woman and husband = pretty explicit isn't it.

John Yurich wrote:
why do you guys keep stating that when someone becomes Born Again that they have to leave the Catholic
"Not every kind of knowledge, even God’s Truth and His Christ, is effectual and saving. There is a form of knowledge, as well as of godliness, which is destitute of power—

"which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law" (Romans 2:20).

The reference is to the Jews, who were instructed in the Scriptures, and considered themselves well qualified to teach others; yet the Truth had not been written on their hearts by the Holy Spirit. A "form of knowledge" signifies there was a model of it in their brains, so that they were able to discourse freely and fluently upon the things of God, yet were they without the life of God in their souls. O how many have a knowledge of salvation, yet not a knowledge unto salvation, as the apostle distinguishes it in 2 Timothy 3:15—such a knowledge as the latter must be imparted to the soul by the miracle-working operation of the Holy Spirit."

"Double standards"
Of course!
How else would Satan's servants deal with good and evil?

But we must remember that Christians are strangers here and walking a very narrow path. Thanks be to God!

Matt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Jesus declares here that we will have enemies.
They will curse us.
They will hate us.
They will despitefully use us.
They will persecute us.

He also teaches us how to handle them.
Love them.
Bless them.
Do good to them.
Pray for them.

Wow thats tough!
But we get divine help to win this victory in Christ. Amen.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
