“ Hope for sinners! ” The names that are omitted remind us of God's judgment on those who persist in sin, and the names that are included remind us of God's mercy to repentant sinners,
“ Superb! ” The Lord's day is a gift from the Lord...a day for doing good to others and enjoying the Lord. We have forgotten what a blessing and gift it is. God gives good gifts to His children and this is one of them.
“ Excellent! ” Since God has cancelled our great debt because Christ paid it, certainly we can extend the same grace to those who have sinned against us.
