Great Sermon! The entire teaching to the people is a man centered to do list. All goodness (called the fruit of the Spirit) coming from man, obedience producing good works, rather than "Christ in you the hope of glory," doing it through you. The "Jesus" of this man made doctrine just somehow seems to send sweet little, warm feelings, blessings for all of this OBEDIENCE. As long as they keep Jesus under their feet, and the truth of His completed, finished work suppressed, they don't even have to pray together because after all look up, the rapture is right up their coming for them. No responsibility to the poor, and special needs of the voiceless and unseen is ever preached. No, "GO. Go. Go; feed, and clothe and comfort, bind up, teach and send." It is all about staying here while letting some "faithful man" preach his whole Christian view in your face every single Sunday. And if someone different comes in, beware---they are divisive before they even open their mouth, they are dubbed a threat. This is not the true Church of Jesus Christ and this is a dangerous movement. |

Great Sermon! When we are in the thick of the battle we will pray. You are right; we are driven to prayer, the adversary is mean, wicked, and ruthless. Survival, in those times tunes out the entire world, and the Blessed Holy Spirit directs the soul how to pray, pray, and pray. If the believer has never had a "garden experience," he, or she needs to go back to the cross and see where he, or she stands. |
