Rom 13:2 the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist **shall receive** to themselves damnation.Or resist, but in doing so you have thus proven yourself one of those "preordained to damnation" anyways as everyone who resists is damned according to various pillars such as Calvin's expositions who proved such truth beyond arguement. Pure pacisifm is the only way to live, otherwise you are according to the proofs of Calvin and these verses interpreted properly, "preordained to be damned". Update: it is not ordained to move to another country (unless you actually move, then it was preordained), yet if you move you would not be in submission to your rulers, so disregard that comment before if you thought it could be a way to obey others with guns instead of the ones with guns where you live now. The pilgrims were damned because they did not submit to their rulers by the way, that is very clear beyond arguement except for reprobates. The Mayflower was a boat to their damnation since they resisted the powers. |

You all need to submit and obey every ordinance of man or you will receive damnation. Stop resisting the preordained will of God, every single thing that is and was was preordained to happen, for such was proved by all historic pillars such as Calvin. Pet 2:13 Submit yourselves to **every** ordinance of man Rom 13:2 the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist **shall receive** to themselves damnation. Or resist, because in doing so you have thus proven yourself one of those preordained to damnation anyways. I sat through both sermons at St Nicholas, Sevenoaks. The Curate delivered two great expositions of 1 Peter 3 1-12.I'm quite astonished that they have caused the fuss they have. The Curate, Mark preached what I thought was the standard biblical commentary. I respected him as a Godly man who has given his life to serve our Lord before. Now after the drumming he has taken and his unwillingness to shift from the Biblical position my respect for him has deepened. As for those few in the congregation who were so offended by his sermons that they chose to ring the national press rather than go speak to him or his vicar about their concerns. Good riddance, God is sovereign and uses all things for his glory. His word has exposed those false christians in the congregation, better now than later! I'm sure the Curate Mark Oden would appreciate any letters of support at this trying time. [email protected] Curate Mark Oden St Nicholas Church Rectory Lane Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1JA |

I attented St Nicholas church on that morning and listened to the sermon by the Curate. It was a wonderful sermon, powerful, compassionate and lovingly delivered. If any offence was taken by any women in the congregation then they obviously didn't hear the sermon but chose to close their ears and their hearts when the scripture was read out.1 Peter ch 3 v 1-6. I would suggest it isn't the Vicar or Curate they they have a problem with but God's Word. It's a little strange that this story came out during the CofE's General Synod when the sermon was delivered two weeks ago. Maybe it has something to do with the Vicar speaking out against the ordination of women and women bishops at the Synod. It would seem the so called liberals in the church have spent the last two weeks sharpening their claws for their ambush. So much for 'love keeps no record, and love being not easily angered (1Cor 13 1-7). Imagine not going to the vicar but rather choosing to go to the press. I say good riddance to these women's tithes they're motives for giving are obviously twisted. Besides shouldn't the husbands make decisions about tithes! |
