"Its not diversity its perversity" is correct! What most large companies force their employees to endure once a year should be call perversity training, too. They want to train us to pretend to like what God hates in order to keep our jobs. But to grow as a Christian you must learn to "discriminate" between what God hates and what He loves - or you do not love Him.
Of course, that doesn't give us a license to be unkind to perverts. But if we don't smile on their evil that's the way it will be taken.
I don't expect anything else from RCs but what I don't understand is how it doesn't even raise an eyebrow among so called Christians.
Are there any Christians in our govt that know better than to participate in this blasphemous tradition? It involves praying to a dead man which is necromancy. This is added to the normal blasphemy of the mass.
Do a little research on the Red Mass and you'll find sites with info like
which has this comment about Thomas More "He was also one of the most vicious and bloody inquisitors that ever lived and was responsible for having Bible translator William Tyndale burned at the stake alive for his work. He had many other innocent victims burned at the stake as well and held massive Bible burning events. Now tell me, what are all our heads of government in all three branches doing attending this cursed event?"
John Yurich: In your next to last post you said "I switched political affiliation from Democrat to Republican in 2008 because I had seen and heard enough of the Democrats insanity supporting abortion, homosexuality and other perversions." and I wonder why you couldn't have remained in the Democrat camp and just rejected the unscriptural parts of their MASSively unscriptural platform?
Like Jim said, all parts of the mass are unscriptural. Even if your list of 'scriptural' exercises is correct (and I can't say that all of it is), the context is supposed to be for meetings of the church and the RCC is not part of the true church. It is only pseudo-christian as I said in my first post.
The RCC is the 'unclean thing' that christians are to come out from but you seem to enjoy staying in and finding things that are 'scriptural' while ignoring the things that are abominable to God. This is like finding bits of food in a garbage can and trying to justify your wallowing in it and crying "See! Here is something I can eat! What's wrong with this garbage can? It has some food in it!"
You've posted the same stuff on SA for a long time, John. May God grant you repentance and give you eyes to see. May you wake up, look around and RUN!
That's all I have to say this time, John. Plenty of others on this site have also pled with you to no avail and I (we) don't have time to repeat our warnings to you endlessly.
I can't help but think that some of the stories posted here are intended as Protestant bait to see if there are still any RCC protesters out there. I'll bite.
I don't like to see good Bible words being abused but it happens in the news all the time. This article abuses words like 'saint' and 'Christian'. How could this man have been a Christian in the Biblical (real) sense if he was spreading the pseudo-christian cult of Roman Catholicism which damns its followers to hell?
I agree with Spurgeon in his 'War! War! War!' sermon: We must have no truce, no treaty with Rome. War! War! War! with her! There cannot be peace. She cannot have peace with us - we cannot have peace with her. She hates the true Church, and we can only say that the hatred is reciprocated. We would not lay a hand on her priests; we would not touch a hair of their heads. Let them be free; but we will attempt to destroy their doctrine from the face of the earth because it is the doctrine of demons. O God, let the Roman Catholic Church perish, let it be consumed in the smoke.
Here we go again; these Wescottites and Horttites, followers of an incompetent god who cannot preserve his word according to what he had promise, are exploding again their obnoxious blasphemies against the Word of God the KJV. These cultic minds of Vatican Wescottites and Horttites will not stop their advances like hell in proclaiming their lies to the world that the Word of God written in the original greek text is gone forever, and hence their champions of the false bible Wescott (loves ritualism and Mariolatory) and Hort (elated with the demon inspired book of Darwin) now holds the key to what truly the word of god means. Here you go! Wescottites and Horttites are flooding the world with bibles from hell where the name of gods are according to their âintellectualâ delight.
I've just about doubled my Chick-fil-A visits since this mess started. And my father-in-law asked a Chick-fil-a manager if their business has been hurt and he said it has increased by 30% ! I hope that's representative of all of them.
From the article... "In the video we see Gladys the Cow singing about the diverse possibilities of what all she could of been instead of a cow, but no matter the possibilities she is still so proud to be a cow. The video even goes on to ask all other cows to come out and be proud of being a cow."
The word "cow" here is supposed to stand for "sexual pervert" or some such. What if we plugged in some other words for undesirable character traits in place of "cow"? Like "child molester" or "drug pusher" or "murderer"? Would they fit? If not now, how about in another 40 years? I never dreamed I would see what is going on today 40 years ago!!!
Excellent preaching on doctrines of Scripture Though the Grand Rapids area has long had a reputation as a "Bible Belt", you would never know it from visiting many of our churches, denominational or not. We too are prone to diminishing God's authorship of Scripture.
I listened to this sermon on the road today, and it effectively summarized (in sermon form, not mere lecture) several doctrines of Scripture that our study group has recently learned during six weeks of informal theology study. Had never listened to a sermon by Rev. Dick before, but he drilled home the significance of these doctrines, centering on 2 Timothy 3, and confronted some of the erroneous views of Scripture in our day. Very helpful.
And by the way, I love SermonAudio!
