Wow! If you played this sermon outside all of the car alarms in the area would go off. This is some serious, passionate preaching. A major subject is that we must go to the Bible for everything, not to the social sciences, the philosophers, or most of the books that fill up Christian bookstores these days. I appreciate this sermon so much. When I was a new Christian I went to a charismatic church where they use the ideas of Psychology to interpret and teach the Bible! And when I questioned this, they said, 'We are a church that moves in the Spirit and we do things that many people are not going to like.' Thank God that people like Paul Washer are warning and preaching against heresies.

Brother Paul gives a rounded Bible teaching on manhood, especially fatherhood. He stresses the importance for boys of spending time with their fathers and godly Christian men, as opposed to spending it with other boys. He stresses the importance of a father's responsibility to disciple his children. He looks at father-son discipleship throughout church history, particularly with the Puritans, and finds fault with the modern church method of using a youth group and sunday school to teach the children. Mr. Washer contests that when Pastors and fathers preach and teach the Word of God, it is the right setting for children to learn, and that children will not be missing out because they didn't have a youth pastor or sunday school teacher. This sermon contains very valuable advice. If only I could have had heard this message as young teenager! Please share it with young Christian men--and fathers--in your life.

I have to say I can't understand why women think they have to be equal with men in the work field. It's not such a glamorous thing! God meant for womens curse to be pain in childbearing, and the mans curse to be work. Why would women want to take on 2 curses? I'm not condemning hard work, but why do women want "equal rights" so bad?

Questions asked about: missions strategies, Christian rap, cultural awareness, dealing with the temptations of fame, how do you know if you are saved, divorce, being used by God, Christians in the military, speaking in tongues. Brother Paul recommends studying systematic theology using Wayne Grudem. My one comment would be that I feel uneasy learning from someone who does not believe God created everything in six days and teaches otherwise. John 5:46. I think a better resource than Grudem is a Thompson chain reference Bible, where you can study systematic theology looking at each verse in its context.

Paul Washer talks about dating, courtship, the differences between being a boy and being a man, and the marital responsibilities of Christian men and women. If only I had heard these things a long time ago. This "sermon" is as valuable as gold for a young person! If you are young, around 14-30, please listen to it. If you have kids in this age range, please recommend this sermon to them.

How did this actually happen? In one school there is really "a group of teenage boys" in one school? Something doesn't sound right there. Just sounds like a bunch of oglers to me. If two bathrooms are getting to be not good enough, why not make another one for the transgenders?

Don't they realize they are robbing the students of the opportunity to succeed? Now all kids care about is the filth going on in Hollywood. And their parents/parent allows them not to succeed? What a backwards nation we live in!

Paul Washer makes some very important comments about missions in the first half. Listen and hear for yourself to see what he says. Also, he says that he was rebuked by a pastor for basically saying people needed to read the Bible more than John Owen. The Bible is inspired. John Owen was a man, and like any man he is questionable. The Bible is not questionable. John Owen is a helpful commentator-teacher, but woe to people who value and esteem men anywhere near how much they value and esteem the Bible. Paul was not wrong to say what he did, and that rebuking pastor should be ashamed. We aren't to make an idolatry out of Christian teachers.

I guess anythings possible, but preaching is way more than just memorizing a sermon. It's waiting on the Lords Holy Spirit to tell you what to preach. you can only have the Holy Spirit if you are saved. At 8 years old (normally) you cannot fully understand the gospel message to be saved.

So what about the kids that want to behave like God created them? Now since the schools are trying so hard to make homosexuals feel comfortable, they're embracing rebellion against God. All homosexuality is, is basically saying "I don't like the way God created me." how about the kids who are going to be exposed to the genitals of the opposite sex because "Johnny wants to be treated like a girl". So, if a boy felt like going into a girls restroom (or visa versa) or see all the girls in the locker room, who are we to stop him.

This country has succumb to being so politically correct, it has induced oxymorons into it's methods. Who in their right mind would join in a prayer with someone who has no faith? It's total annihilation of common sense altogether.
