Thank God for some courageous people who still dare to be politically in-correct. This is the kind of preachers we need today more than ever.

Sermon:
Given Up To Uncleanness
Pastor Andrew Webb

“ Excellent sermon ”
Thank you Pastor Webb for this very sound and easy-to-understand message. As a former homosexual who repented of the gay lifestyle I believe that your comments on homosexuality are absolutely accurate. I also appreciate the fact that you did not single homosexual practice out as THE MAJOR SIN but made it clear, that heterosexual fornication and adultery are just as sinful and displeasing to God. Very timely and helpful message, not only for young people!

This is a word for the brothers that posted this news item. I would suggest you warned people on this site that a certain news article is accompanied by pornography! I wanted to read the entire article but was really disturbed about the pornographic pictures and lewd comments on the webpage you put up a link to. Please warn people about that. Or even better do not put up links to websites that have lewdness and vulgarity in word or in pictures. Thanks!

Christian-you used a very apt word there-"apostate"
they should have known better than to compromise and leave biblical truth behind.....the "Protestant" churches who are up to their eyes in the ecumenical movement today are similarly apostate
GK - I agree a 100%. The mainline denominations all went along with the spirit of their time i.e. Nazism. Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli and the other reformers would condemn today's "lutheran" and "reformed" state-churches to hell if they were still around.

You made some good points in your last comment on the Nazi Regime and the role of the churches during that time. And yes, the Lutheran and Reformed State churches of Germany compromised with the Nazi governement probably as much as the Roman church. Nevertheless I believe that the Vatican actively worked to bring Hitler into power whereas the apostate Protestant churches chose to remain passive and silent. And yes my own native land (Switzerland) is guilty of collaborating with the Nazi Regime. You are probably right that most if not all of us had also kept silent rather than being thrown into the gas chambers.

“ I've been blessed! ”
Thank you so much for this very honest and down-to-earth message. I have left the homosexual lifestyle quite a while ago but I still struggle with same-sex attractions from time to time. This message renewed my hope and also my assurance of salvation in Christ alone. I want to be the man God made me to be but I know I am still far from being what I want to be. I have listened to almost every sermon on this website on the issue of homosexuality but very few confront this issue so honestly, straight-forward and yet compassionately as this one.

There were already some good links with photographs given in the previous comments concerning the Roman Catholic-Nazi Connection. You are absolutely right that the Nazis were deeply involved in the occult and in the old germanic-pagan religions. Like in other countries German Roman-Catholicism has taken many old germanic deities and mystical figures on board and "catholicised" them, that is made them into saints. Roman-Catholicism blends surprisingly well with pagan religion because of their many similarities. And yes Hitler HATED Bible-Christianity yet he never left the church of Rome. You are also right, that there were Roman Catholic laity and even clergy that went into the death camps for resisting the Nazi movement. But these people resisted Hitlers regime not because of the fact that they were Roman Catholics but despite the fact that their church was in league with Hitler. The church of Rome double-crosses her own followers. She did not mind to have millions of European Roman Catholics die in two world-wars as long as it served her interests. Some "mother" church!

Funny you mention Joseph Goebbels. He was a Roman Catholic. So was Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering, Heinrich Himmler, Heydrich etc. Quite interesting that most of the big names in the Nazi Party were Roman Catholics. As far as I know none of them has ever been excommunicated from the Vatican. They excommunicated Martin Luther though, because he did something REALLY BAD. He gave the german-speaking people of Europe the Bible in their language. That is more abominable to the pope than murdering 6 million Jews. I contend that the jews were not primarily killed because they were not aryans but that they were primarily killed because they were not Roman Catholics. Thank God every dark and secret thing will be revealed on judgement day.

Even a broken clock ticks right twice a day! The pope may be right on the importance to defend the traditional family but that does not justify the myriad of false doctrines he also promotes all over the globe.

Please check out the following website:

www.eternal-productions.org

You can watch an 80-minute documentary online and for free which inquires into the phenomena of marian apparitions in the light of the Bible.
One of the best Christian documentaries I have ever seen! Highly recommended!

Thanks Jim

I had not read that article before. I agree with most of it, except that I think it is hypocritical to define Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnessism and Christian Science as cults (and they certainly are) but completely ignore the biggest cult of them all, the system of Roman Catholicism. Giuliani is a Roman Catholic and Mike Huckabee cooperated with the church of Rome earlier in his career. I don't really know if there is any candidate that a Bible-believing Christian can wholeheartedly endorse. I hope the Christians of America will earnestly seek God's face to vote according to HIS will.

Make no mistake about it, this battle will not be over until Christ returns in glory and will destroy Sodom and her children once and for all. Get out of her while you still can.

God saved a homosexual rebel like me, He can also save you but the age of grace will one day come to an end and then it will be forever too late to repent.

I am sure glad I don't have to vote on this election. I actually believed Romney to be a man of integrity. But how can you expect a man who belongs to a religious organization that was founded by a womanizing self-absorbed story-teller to know what integrity is in the first place.

Please visit chick.com to learn about a brand new comic book called "The Enchanter", which exposes the true history of Joseph Smith and the beginnings of the Mormon religion. I will never look at those friendly mormon missionaries the same way again.

Matthew 18:5-6
"And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Take heed so-called sex-educators! God has enough millstones for all of you.

The presence of the Holy Spirit is not a given, just because one has a label of priest, pope, pastor, etc. In Acts 2:38 Peter says, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Jesus teaches this in John 3:5, " Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
NO ONE is perfect, we who are born again will not reach perfection until we leave this world. There is no such thing as a man who never errors, because of our fallen nature {Psalm 51:5}. To teach a gospel other than what Christ himself taught is to be in error...
Thanks Lyn from USA

I could not have put it into more beautiful and easy-to-understand words. Sound theological comments are sometimes rare even on this site!

God bless!

Could it be that our Lord is much more honoured by the way the Christians in North-Korea celebrate His birth than by the glittery superficial and shallow way we western Christians go about it?

Why do so many churches remain silent or neutral on the satanic plans of the gay movement? It is NOT love to let homosexuals go to hell unchallenged by the truth of God's word and it is certainly NOT love to let children be indoctrinated by the most ardent followers of the devil in today's western world. And don't call me a homophobic gay-basher, because I was a homosexual myself and full of the devil until the Lord opened my eyes to the grievousness of my sins. Just the thought of small impressionable kids being robbed of their innocence and polluted by this deadly filth should drive all true Christians to pray for God to utterly destroy and bring to nought the gay agenda in our nations.

Jim Lincoln, I absolutely agree with you. In fact I would not even bother to visit Bethlehem when I were in Israel. I have been told that the "established christian" churches there have turned the alleged site of the Lord's birth (how do they know it was exactly there?)into a religious disney-land. Too bad many muslims think that all Christians are condoning this idolatry.

Just because someone is introverted doesn't mean that they are cold. It is part of the nature and mentality of the Germans not to act very emotional but that does not mean that all Germans are cold and heartless. I prefer a high-official who acts a little timid to a prancing superstar like the late John Paul II.
