1 interesting note:- In the original referendum by the Scottish Nationalists for “independence” from Britain, but within the EU, which they lost some years ago, one of the main sticking points was that Scotland didn’t actually want to join the failed Euro single currency, which new members of the EU are supposed to do, but to continue with the British pound, knowing they could never have their own exclusive currency!! Three private Scottish banks (Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of Scotland and Clydesdale Bank), at the moment do have a statutory right to print sterling notes, which are valid tender in Scotland as well as the normal Bank of England ones, though the coins are the same.

There are multitudes of “liberal” pro-EU anti-Brexit Conservatives, all the Liberal Democrat’s, most of the Labour Party, all the Greens, all the Scottish and Welsh Nationalists, and some pro-EU anti-Brexit Independents, who are teaming up with the globalists, environmentalists and big international business and the mainly leftist media to keep us in the EU, or if not, cobble a “deal” to keep us tied to EU, in a kind of “associate” membership, with elements of a Customs Union, and / or Single Market, and subservience of some sort, however limited, to Brussels and its courts and laws, but without sears in the rubber stamp EU Parliament.

I am somewhat sceptical as to whether we will actually leave on 31st October 2019!!!

Since then, despite statements to the contrary, many political powers in Britain, backed by the EU, have connived to get rid of Northern Ireland, and butter it up for ultimate reabsorption into the Republic of Ireland, the EU and of course the Eurozone.

The Republic of Ireland has thrown off much of its Catholic identity, due to paedophile scandals, and the abuse of girls and women in the terrible Magdalena Laundries run by nuns, and is now an aggressively secular country, having overthrown its own Constitution and adopted “gay” marriage, and virtually unlimited abortion.

The evangelicals in Northern Ireland are shortly about to be betrayed and handed over to this, I believe.

It was in Ireland that the Catholic King James II was finally defeated in 1690, having been deposed in 1688 after having a Catholic male heir, and seeking to turn England into a Catholic country, in favour of his Protestant daughter Mary II and her Dutch husband William III.

Many devoutly Protestant settlers from England and Scotland had gone to Ireland, particularly in what is now Northern Ireland, and that area became majority Protestant.
The rest was majority Catholic.

After the disastrous Potato Famine in the early 19th century, and whole scale Catholic emigration to US, there was a movement of rebellion and independence for Ireland. This culminated in the main part of Ireland receiving independence after the 1st World War.

The Protestant majority in the North refused to become a minority in a Catholic country, and stayed part of Britain.

The Catholic Republican Irish did not accept this, and through political pressure and terrorism have always stood against this, hence the terrible troubles of the 1970’s.

No John UK, it is not as simple as that. Northern Ireland is still part of the U.K., not part of the Republic of Ireland.

We must not forget that it was actually the Pope in the time of king Henry II, I believe, who granted previously independent Ireland, which was not at the time Roman Catholic, but had its own Celtic Church, to the English. That put an end to the independence of the Irish Church, as well as the state.

England lost its Celtic Church to the Roman Catholic Church some centuries earlier, in the Saxon days, in the Synod of Whitby in 664 AD, when the Northumbrian King, a Celtic Christian, King Oswy, had narried a Catholic princess from Kent, and the Synod decided for Rome. The Celtic bishops, missionaries, monks and priests either accepted Rome, or went back to Scotland or Ireland. The Celtic Church died out soon after.

Later on, in the 16th and 17th centuries, fired up by the Protestant Reformation and Puritan zeal many settlers from Scotland and England went over to Ireland, particularly to what us now Northern Ireland, and settled there.

In Britain, it is now totally illegal to do any kind of formal work with children, without obtaining a fully enhanced up to date DBS Certificate, which is basically an elaborated police check into criminal records, which must be requested by the sponsoring or employing organisation, with a signed statement, personal photographic and household identity documents produced, and the last 5 years addresses. An organisation ought always to take out serious references, and check them, including if a Christian organisation, church and employment references.

Certificates should be updated about every 2 or 3 years.

What a tragic story!! I guess it was things like this that caused this school to give up its boarding houses and become a day school.

Paedophiles are often crafty people, and will get into any situation where there are children, even if it means pretending to be born again and take church office, a missionary, or missionary school teacher.

It is not just the Roman Catholic Church that has problems like this, but Protestant and even Evangelical churches.

Besides, it would be better if missionary children were not educated separately from Christian locals, exclusively in English, but should get at least some exposure to the language, food and those aspects of local culture that are not unbiblical. Perhaps, local churches should set up genuinely Christian schools in the local language, or encourage homeschooling. This would avoid a lot of these problems!!

Let God be true and every man a liar”.

I am sad and shocked that many evangelical Christians are ardent devotees of the Roman Catholic theology of St Augustine, who launched the Replacement Theology, that emphasised perpetually punished and stripped Israel, and the great triumphant Church.

I am also appalled that evangelical Christians support, along with the theological and political liberals, the so called 2 state solution, which really is a 1 state solution, leading to a sharia Islamic Jew-free Arabic state of Palestine, and some ardently have embraced so called “Christian Palestinianism”. This is an utter disgrace.

The great Reformed Anglican Bishop, J C Ryle, who opposed Catholicism and wrote about the Puritans and Reformers, was

Two issues here.

1). The Sabbath for Christians. No, we do not celebrate the Sabbath, which is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. I do wish my Reformed friends would stop calling Sunday the Sabbath. (I am Reformed in theology, too). It is not, it is the Lord’s Day, given to the Church in the New Covenant, to celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection, but also a day of rest, and yes, I believe the 4th Commandment still applies, and has not been abrogated. We Christians should joyfully celebrate the Lord’s Day. I do remember as a boy, when most shops were closed on Sunday, now in Britain, large shops have restricted hours, and everything else, including small shops, opens when they like. A pity in many ways.

2). Though I am Reformed, I do not subscribe to Replacement Theology, as God has not forgotten His promises to the Jews or to Israel, but they will be fully restored to faith in Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, as their true Messiah, having been double crossed in their 3rd Temple, by the wicked Antichrist, the False Messiah, when he declares himself to be god in the middle of the tribulation.

I agree with Dr Tim on this one, and we Christians should remember if God does not keep His promises to the Jews or Israel, He may not keep His promises to the Church. “Let God be true, a

Without delay, all truly born again and biblical Christian evangelical parents in California should with immediate effect withdraw all their school age children from public schools, and either send them to genuinely and totally independent Christian evangelical schools, or homeschool them.

Unfortunately this is a tenderising of Northern Ireland for eventual reunion with the Republic of Ireland, and of course the EU and the eurozone. The Republic of Ireland recently overthrew their own Constitution and accepted “gay” marriage and abortion.

The British Government in Westminster, of whatever political colour, is never going to allow a normal free election in Northern Ireland, but insists that there must be a coalition of the two opposite parties of the principally and generally anti-EU right wing Protestant Democratic Unionist Party (wishes N Ireland to remain part of Britain) and the mainly nominally Catholic and pro-EU left wing Republican Sinn Fein (wishes N Ireland to be absorbed by the Republic of Ireland).

To force “gay” marriage and abortion on N Ireland in the absence of a properly devolved Assembly or Parliament and Government and without the agreement of the people of the province is absolutely disgraceful and undemocratic.

In Britain we may or may not crash out of the EU, or may end up as a kind of lesser or “associate” member of it, but we may well lose N Ireland, and maybe even Scotland over it. Perhaps a judgment from the Lord!!!

In Britain, apart from 1 specialist civilian NHS hospital in the Midlands, but which has some military medical staff attached, and field hospitals in areas of conflict, we no longer have specific military hospitals.

As far as veterans, we do not have any kind of state provision for them except a pension, but there is the British Legion, and a variety of charities and regimental associations, etc.,that run private rehabilitation facilities, long term homes, hospices and so on for ex-military. The famous Royal Hospital in Chelsea, (not a hospital at all, but a grand home for ex-Army with a distinctive red uniform for its residents), is one of these, and one or two private medical hospitals, one of which in central London the Queen uses if she needs serious treatment.

As for military chaplaincies , these are multi-faith, though some evangelicals are present.

There is also, separate from the chaplaincies, a lay run Scripture Readers Association, which is voluntary and usually ex-servicemen and women who are permitted into barracks, military facilities, to share the scriptures and assist in other ways.

In Britain, with one solitary exception in the Midlands run by our civilian NHS, with input by military doctors, there are now no state hospitals run by the military, except field hospitals, and then servicemen are usually flown home for treatment in civilian hospitals.

There are some charitable foundations with long term homes, hospices, and some private hospitals, (the Queen uses one of these in central London), and the famous Royal Hospital in Chelsea, which is not a hospital but a special home for elderly ex-soldiers with a distinctive red uniform.

NHS hospitals usually have multi-faith chaplaincies, and the traditional hospital chapel is now usually a “multi-faith room”!!

Unfortunately the Mormons read their Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price, which they add to the Bible.

As for the Jehovah’s Witnesses so called, (true born again Christians are the real “Jehovah’s Witnesses”), they have their doctored “New World Translation” of the Bible, their Watchtower and Awake magazines, and their many instructional books, and of course the “Faithful and Discreet Slave” aka the Governing Body of some 7 or 8 men in Brooklyn, that have absolute control over the lives of all “Jehovah’s Witnesses”.

As we can see, neither Mormons nor “Jehovah’s Witnesses” do very much Bible study, but only isolated verses out of context to support their doctrines!!

The video was a Twitter video, but there is a good hyperlink to it, together with a full article on ChristianConcern. com website. It was also reported in Breitbart.

The headmistress had gained controversy the previous year for organising an LGBT Pride March in the school, though apparently the weather intervened, and a scaled down event in the school hall was held. She is apparently a head of a second local primary school, at the same time, this is quite normal when schools are federated together.

The 2 children this year who refused to participate, were actually given a detention after their dressing down which lasted from 10 am to 3 pm, and it was subsequent to that the two children were suspended for 5 days.

This is actually, I believe illegal, and contrary to government policy on suspensions. I am a qualified teacher, from many years ago, but have taught mainly adults in my career. I keep abreast of what is going on in schools. This is quite unacceptable, and is shockingly bad practice!

I have just watched a short 5 minute video by a lovely 10 year old West Indian or African British girl, I believe of Pentecostal background, and I am incensed.

She had just been suspended from her state (public) primary school in south London, along with a Catholic boy of the same age, for 5 days, because they refused to participate in a compulsory LGBT indoctrination lesson. Their class teacher refused them permission to abstain from participation, the headmistress, who is a known LGBT sympathiser, whose lesbian daughter is the school administrator and whose deputy, a man, is an active homosexual LGBT activist, hauled them into her office, gave them a dressing down (bullying session, basically), and accused the young girl of saying that she wanted to kill LGBT people, which she did not say!!

In her video, the young lady gives a most sensible and masterful expose of this wickedness and child abuse, and says clearly that this is confusing and bad for children!! Our miserable politicians will do nothing about this, we are indeed in the last days!!

I guess this Evangelical Covenant Church is like Baptists and Congregationalists, but unlike Presbyterian , Reformed, Methodist and Episcopalian churches in that the building does not belong to the denomination, but to the individual congregation.

In that case the Evangelical Covenant Church can only bar their ministers from visiting that church, and remove all recognition from that apostate pastor and his staff, and bar them from having any ministry story in an ECC church. Perhaps they need to tighten up their Confession of Faith, and requirements for ministers and entry to their seminaries.

Actually in the article which was not in the extract printed on the SA news, it stated that the British state supported though not owned broadcaster, the BBC, for which every tv owner must pay an exorbitant annual licence fee to watch any tv or even digital tv programme, enforced by law and legal sanctions, and which is about to strip over-75’s of their free licence, (unless they apply for a bureaucratic means-tested government welfare pension credit), reported a censored version of this news, which removed any reference of the Dogon villagers attacked and burnt alive as being Christians, or the Fulani herdsmen that attacked them as being Muslims, and merely passed it off as “clashes between Dogon hunters and semi-nomadic Fulani herders - a mere fight for resources”!!!

However, the Lord is working in Mali however, and the deputy pastor of one famous Reformed church in Britain is from that country originally.
