Amen Herbal Mama- we too left several cults posing as Christianity.I fear for those who follow a spiritual âguruâ and his wacked out beliefs, instead of the Christ of the Bible. Praise God for the gift of discernment!
How deceived and gullible are many in the Christian community. This man by all intents and purposes was a thief and a robber who climbed up another way and never came through the Door.He make be one who Christ came and paid his sin debt but at the present he is an unbeliever ( by his own admission) and unless he is birthed from above he will die in his sins.
I agree with Christopher000 where is the crying out for Godâs glory and honor in all of this? âLovest thou Me more than these.â
@Christopher000, thanks for posting up the accountability link.It will be ignored by most. It has been my experience that most Catholics and professing Christians just ignore the horrendous and devilish abominations that goes on in that religion. You would think that they would be leaving that religion in droves when all of this is continually exposed almost weekly, but instead nothing but apathy or the old worn out phrase âwell, weâre all sinnersâ.â Donât Judgeâ What a bunch of blind dupes!
Mr. James, concerning your tea you enjoyed in Ireland perhaps it was Barryâs Tea, and the chocolate biscuit was probably Mcvites Chocolate Digestives. Our favorite Irish treat..yum.Can both be ordered through Amazon.đ
This quote from a well known Pastor is quite relevant to the ongoing dialogue:
âThe primary message of the church should not be,âwe are a nice place; youâll like us.âInstead, the message should be, âThis is a holy place where sin is despised,â JM
Btw, John Yurich started this whole debacle by coming on here and posting a carnal comment about the length of the piano players skirt...why? What purpose did it serve except to defile others and demean the character of an unknown woman.
Thanks Mr. Tim for your positive feedback. In my many years as a Christian I have seen every thing unbiblical/sinful pressed into Romans 14. The context is quite clear what Paul was admonishing the church about: special days, meat and drink. But it has become the favorite chapter for those operating in the flesh to go to when they want to justify their carnality. IMHO
John Yurich, the Scripture is our standard, and it tells us in 1 Timothy 2:9 âIn like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobrietyâ.. If you noticed her apparel and chose to come on here and share with everyone the length of her dress ..?? It was immodest and she should have been taken aside by the leadership of your church and been shown her error and asked to put on something more appropriate or not be allowed to play the piano, as she was an occasion to cause brethren to stumble.
Your welcome John UK. I heard that brother Henry had asked his family and friends to pray for the Lord to take him home, how wonderful to live your last days in eager anticipation of being with your Lord and Savior.
