All the constant fussing over Jews by american evangelicals is a result of the twisted dispensationalist theology that has infected this country. Modern day Judaism is a fraud. There's no temple, no priests, no sacrifices, no ark of the covenant; and even if there was all of those things it would make no difference in God's eyes because they (followers of Judaism) have rejected the True Sacrifice. Christians should view Judaism the same way we view Islam, Mormonism, and other similar religions -just cults of Christianity.

How funny, instead of sending American troops to fight petty wars on the other side of the globe, our president actually uses the military what it's meant and then is viewed as a hateful tyrant?! We live in backwards times.

I get a lot of calls from folks (mostly foreigners) trying to sell me stuff or scam me. I used to think of creative things to say to make sure they never call again, until realizing that right before me was a great opportunity to share Christ. I always start it with: "Do you fear God?". People respond in a lot of different ways, some good, some bad, and some downright ugly...

Very thought provoking question Chris000. I've turned the same question (and others similar to it) over in my mind many times. When is it sinful or not to "break the rules" for the sake of spreading the good news? The conclusion I've reached (and still working out in my mind) is that sharing the gospel is appropriate for the Christian in any place or circumstance or place where discussion on other subjects is allowed. For example, I personally don't think it would be a good idea to start preaching in a library or a formal business meeting, college class, etc. On the other hand, I think it's entirely appropriate to share the good news with the cashier or while working alongside someone. I honestly don't know what to think about going to a tribe or group of people who have expressly stated their intent to kill anyone they come in contact with. But then again, the story of Telemachus comes to mind. It definitely seems to be a case by case thing!

While it is true that the RCC used and abused this law for the wrong reasons, it also shows Ireland's downward spiral towards total secularism. Biblically speaking, a punishment (the death penalty to be exact) should be administered by the state against those who blaspheme. But for some reason in our modern day, practically the only punishable "hate speech" is that which is spoken against those committing the most egregious abominations. But everyone's allowed to curse the Holy One as much as they like. However, as Adriel pointed out, God will not let the wicked get away with this kind of sin - even if the government fails to perform it's duty.

Not interested in your offer PO Tim. One of your students told me that all they served at the cafeteria was possum goat cheese burgers (not to mention the cook who was as crusty as they come). However, no one beats the faculty and standards of excellence at Backwoods Academy of Duck Farming. You can call at 1-800-DRAKE. I owe my success to that institution and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a career in waterfowl management. You can bet your bill on that.

These Welsh leaders (do they deserve that title?) apparently didn't get enough whippin's themselves. Of course, even if spanking does get banned over there (or here for that matter), all the parents who love their children will continue to discipline as prescribed by scripture. In the meantime, all these western nations that make these kinds of bans will wonder why they're in a hand basket and why it's getting so warm.

Not surprising, liberals have found out by now that in order to advance their agenda they have to shred up truth and cast it to the wind.

Christopher000 from Rhode Island writes:
"Really tragic to see so many who need our help, turned away because we are under such constant threat by enemies of the West, and Islam which is sworn to convert or destroy anyone who isn't them."

Wise observation and so true. Our various immigration agencies face a very real problem in this way. As you said, most everyone who comes will claim good reasons for doing so. But as has been pointed out, some want to come here to be predators of what freedom and prosperity we have left. As far as I'm concerned, no Muslims (refugees or not) should be allowed here as they are simply socioeconomic dead weight. It would bring me great joy to see our government tenaciously trying to bring in helpless christian families from other nations that are refugees and/or persecuted for their faith in Christ. Thankfully we've seen the Trump administration do some of that, and hopefully they'll do much, much more.

We should also pray for the lost soul of our Roman Catholic VP. And the POTUS of course.

Plain Old Tim from Possum Hollow, USA writes:
"And I take back everything I said about nuking them. Instead I think a hundred thousand ordinary American citizens should stand just inside the border and hurl marshmallows at them until they retreat back into Mexico."

Mexicans like sugar almost as much we southerners do. Just a thousand of em' would wolf down every marshmallow you chucked at them.

"Immigrants, yes—all that we can absorb. Invaders, no, not one."

I'd say that pretty much sums it up for me.👍

Plain Old Tim from Possum Hollow, USA writes:
Right on, BDF. Got some chilly weather coming in next week. You got parkas for all them ducks?

It'll be pleasant where I am for the next little while. When the bitter cold does kick in, my flat footed friends just fluff their feathers. In the meantime, the fox is snatching as many as he can to get nice 'n fat for the winter.
How bout' them goats? If they get too cold you'll lose your only mode of transportation. I guess Chris000 isn't worried, grocery carts are an all weather device. 😉

Thanks, and completely agree. The thought occurred to me that there may have been more in-between the lines, but I never bothered to ask. Makes perfect sense...thanks.

No problem. I figured that would clear things up.👍

I don't at all stand with devils like Soros who promote the one world agenda which is just an on ramp to Marxism. Scripture speaks of the importance of borders and boundaries, both when it comes to private property lines and national ones. But it also speaks of the importance of treating strangers with kindness. Please bear in mind I'm not speaking of thugs and pond scum, but decent people.

Please understand that I was not saying we should accept anyone who wants to come. Obviously MS-13 and others like them are not hardworking and certainly not law-abiding. The US should have a very thorough screening process but one which is also as speedy as possible.

Our government should be welcoming all hardworking, law-abiding foreigners who want to enter this country. Aren't all of us Americans descended from immigrants anyway?

Yes I would think that nuking wouldn't be the Christian route to take. Don't get me wrong, I believe in strengthening our borders, but it should be done in a civil manner. Perhaps immediate deportation would be a better punishment for violators than immediate death? There are crimes that are deserving of capital punishment by God's principles, border flipping is not one of them.
