Hi Christopher! It always makes me shake my head at how hard these people work to squelch a God who "doesn't exist". If He's a fairy tale, then leave Him be and He should go the way of fables, right? Of course, their inward man knows better at some level...

Prov 4:3-7
"When I was a son with my father, tender and precious to my mother, he taught me and said: “Your heart must hold on to my words.
Keep my commands and live.
Get wisdom, get understanding; don’t forget or turn away from the words of my mouth.
Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you.
Wisdom is supreme—so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding."

Without discipleship, there is little hope for a generation who will always cave to man's natural tendencies. But praise God that He is mighty to save the perishing. There is hope yet while we breath!

...and verses 26-31

"Brothers, consider your calling: Not many are wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world—what is viewed as nothing—to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us—our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord."

1 Corinithians chapter 1, verses 18-31 deserve a good read in regards to this man's endeavour.

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved. For it is written:

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and I will set aside the understanding of the experts.

Where is the philosopher?Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish?

For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached. For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles.Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is God’s power and God’s wisdom, because God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength."

Hebrews 9:27-28
"And just as it is appointed for people to die once—and after this, judgment— so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him."

The first think that struck me about this article wasn't the drag queen but the term "nursery school".
"The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world." William R. Wallace

If parents would start making the hard decisions and start making the sacrifices to model God's familial design we just might see less of this - or at least protect our children from the wolves and lions that roam around seeking whom they may devour. IOW, it's not a drag queen, LGBTXYZ, crazed shooter problem, it's a personal responsibility problem.

This news article is not completely accurate - it was not a bill but a motion which is not a law passed. There are many Canadians that are upset about this - it is opening eyes to the treasonous behaviour of our white Obama, so perhaps it is good for something,

To add to Allie's comment:
1 Corinthians 15:33-34. "Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals. Come to your senses and stop sinning, for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame."

As God's agents toward His children, parents are supposed to protect their charges until they have the armor of God firmly in place, at least to the best of our God-given ability. We talk about special circumstances wherein Isrealite children were captured, dragged into slavery and God used them. He can use anyone He wants for any purpose He wants at any time He wants to. That doesn't mean we throw our lambs to the wolves and hope and pray they turn out alright while the waking world around them shovels evolution, perverted life-styles, peer counsel, humanism, et al down their throats. Wake up. It will only get worse.

These stories serve as a well-to-heed reminder of the difference between the fear of God and the fear of man. Praise the Lord these parents are able to watch their little girl grow, and may she grow in grace! If it hadn't turned out this way I hope in their grief we could still say praise the Lord.

We live in a part of Montana where we can quite easily find garnets, bits of gold and saphires. The beauty in these precious stones and metal God has created is yet another testament to God's awesome power and His incredible creaviteness. The process by which we purify these stones and metal we have used many times to teach the children the process of salvation. We will never get rich from a weekend hobby, nor do we wish to; however, God made it, it's good and beautiful - not unlike the diamond this gentleman found! Pray he will use it for God's glory and rejoice with those who rejoice!

Feminists are often recognized by their forceful and angry choice of words. They usually resort to name calling and ridicule anyone who does not agree with them. Humility is not their companion. So called "Christian feminists" proclaim their words are Holy Spirit inspired and therefore to disagrement with them is akin to blasphemy against God. They have an unteachable spirit but claim authority to teach others. Their tongues wag, their fingers wag and under it all they are proud and bitter. They aren't really hard to see through. The tougher question is what to do with them, like grasping oil or the wind. Ellen G. White of the SDA church is a great example of "Christian" feminism and how that works.

Lol Please let's not be surprised brothers and sisters. This isn't news. "Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it." Matt 7:13-14 One verse among MANY that this article simply plays out.

Remember He likens it to a bride and groom. The groom does not love many women, only His bride. A thorough reading of Romans (especially chapter 9) explains this concept fully.

If John is "for real" here and not just trolling to stir the pot, this subject is a difficult one for the person who believes they must act on their own part. I was there, and these were not foreign concepts to me but I had been taught they were wrong. The burden on my soul to save myself was staggering! When God woke me to His truth... Well, nothing so crushing and humbling and joyous and liberating had ever entered my mind. And now I look at this with awe - my God acts ALONE. He needs no one and nothing. He never wrings His hands waiting for something to happen or hoping we make a good choice. He is never taken by surprise. It is ALL in His control because He has ordered it, caused it, made it, exacted it, willed it, blessed it to be so. It has been done and He has determined who will go to be with Him and who will burn in the lake of fire - the choice is from a sovereign God and what a relief for His people! The verse where Christ says to take up His yolk (Matt 11:29) has a whole different meaning for His elect verses the vain pursuit of those who do not believe in a God big enough to be in control. Adriel and Kev have posted some of the most beautiful words to a sinners ears. God doesn't have to love anyone but He does love His children with a jealous love. Remem

Are the prayers of the righteous effective because they petition God to change His mind; or is it rather that the righteous person, through the loving command to pray, experiences the moving of the Holy Spirit in their hearts to conform their will to God's?
