Sorry to interrupt the thread, but I wanted to give news to those who prayed.
I got a call not to long ago from a number I didn't recognize. Turned out to be a friend I hadn't heard from in a bit. He asks me how it's going. I gave him a quick summary of current events. He then says, "do you want a job?" Turns out that he needs someone to finish a job that someone else started. A decent size job for $15 more an hour then what I make now. And if the job goes well, we will get all their work in the future.
Praise the Lord!

I'm not silly enough to quit my job. It would be on the side, but it takes a lot of the pressure off.

Thank you who prayed. You know who you are.

P.s. I hope people don't get turned off by thinking somehow this is a dramatic display for attention. It is not. I genuinely believe in the true church of believers on this site. For that reason we are to pray for each other. In love.

To those who have tasted that the Lord is good, thank you. Prayer is our great weapon.

Praise Him!

Christopher. Yes, Ive always thought that. If you read the bible with out any preconceived ideas, how would you receive it?

As for specifics regarding my workplace situation, a snake has crept into the workplace.seeking to build himself up while tearing others down. and I'm number one on that list because I'm number two in the company under the boss. Guess who wants to be number 2? unfortunately the boss is not a believer and is being seduced by smooth words. Please pray that the Lord would be glorified whatever the outcome. and that I would continue to be able to provide for my family. And be graceful in the middle of adversity.

What i find interesting is the article concerns Franklin Graham, not Billy Graham. Are we to condemn the son for sins of the father?

Ezekiel 18:20(esv)

Dolores. I'm sure you can tell that I desire peace in these kinds of conversations. It can get testy with so many opinions, most of which are opinions of others that they are repeating. To be clear, I love the physical descendents of Israel, as I do all people. That they would come to the knowledge of the truth. Until each one does, they are enemies of God for your sake. That's not my opinion, that is what the apostle Paul said. Does God have a plan for that plot of land and for the Jews? Of course. Does he look down and smile upon what many on that plot of land are doing? No. Did you know that some in the gay community have dubbed tel Aviv as the "gay capital of the world"? Or did y hey know that many Torah following orthodox Jews oppose the very existence of the "state of Israel"? Saying that God banished them 2000 years ago and those who are ruling it now are secular liars? Zionists. Which is an unholy movement that has taken over the very land we both live in as well.

In conclusion, we must preach the gospel, God will do his work. He will get the glory.

Blessings to you and yours as well dorcas. Just got in from tending the mini farm. The goats were docile, very peaceful. Got 3 eggs. Wife is cooking them up for the kids.
What a wonderful experience it is.

Dolores... your experience with your family was similar to mine. The spiritual things can't be discerned by the unspiritual. I found that my words fell on ears that can't here. Which showed they(family) needed over time to see the reality played out in our life style.
