"But don't forget, English Lad, God loves you and has a specific plan for your life." - who else teaches this heresy? "The Bible teaches that “God is love” and that God loves you. To realize that is of paramount importance. Nothing else matters so much. And loving you, God has a wonderful plan for your life. " from https://billygraham.org/devotion/steadfast-love/

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you"

great message on the FV heresy and 'conditional salvation' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnS5Z-A_5jA&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR08Bds5G65LToIy7N590ipKae1u_bwn_sknqH0vG-TPMoBKD2HcbxdgP80

"there is nothing preventing him from receiving sinners and pardoning them but their own stubbornness and rebellion and unbelief" - more 'conditional salvation' heresy. God simply cannot overcome man's stubbornness, He wrings His hands and drops His shoulders because sinners just won't come...here's what the bible actually says, "no one is able to come unto me, if the Father who sent me may not draw him" YLT John 6:44 - "and ye do not will to come unto me, that ye may have life" John 5:40 'do not will to come' is in the present indicative active mood, the present tense means it is a CONTINUOUS action, they NEVER WILL come. The active voice points to the subject, 'you' as the performer of this action.

The childish grade school mentality and tactics is inexcusable for those who claim to be 'in Christ'. I refer to the hypocrisy exposed on the B.Moore thread, my 7/4/19 3:29 pm comment. Taking 'sides' to 'get even' is a sad testimony to the maturity level of those who claim to be 'aged saints'. Debate from Scripture and leave your personal vendettas to private messaging.

False accusations are all you have.
You are presenting a conditional universal salvation, " redemption on behalf of mankind to be pursued. Of course this does not mean *universal* redemption as some assume it is, as it balances against the commands to the whosoever to repent and the grace granted to do so." Salvation 'on behalf of mankind' is universal in your book. Those who repent receive this salvation according to you, so it's based on the sinner's work and not sovereign grace and the finished work of Christ. You do not fool the elect with your double speak.
'But if WE walk in the light, as he is in the light, WE have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth US from ALL sin.' 1 John 1:7. The blood of Christ does cleanse completely, 'us' from 'all' sin. It isn't a probability, it is actual. It isn't for 'all' but for 'us'.
The truth rightly divided shuts the mouths of the deceivers.

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you"

BmC please address, and not with your opinions- Revelation 5:9 proves Christ's blood purchased some, not all, 'out of'{meaning 'out from among', doesn't imply 'all'} the marketplace of the world. The blood of Christ cleanses from 'all' sin. 'redeemed' from the Greek 'agorazó' - defined as 'to buy in the marketplace, purchase'. What He purchased became His own personal possession. It wasn't just a possibility - In the Greek, 'agorazo' in the indicative mood, which means -'the action or the event as something real or certain, in other words as an objective fact.'
From the text, ' hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation'- we know 'redeemed' means to make a purchase from 'out of ' the marketplace. We know Christ did NOT buy the whole market. We know He distinctly selected from the marketplace sinners from 'every' {pas in the Gr.} kindred, tongue, people and nation.
Those who deny the teaching of this text do so because the Spirit of God has not taught them truth. Clinging to the doctrines of men, personal favs in both the Reformed and Arminian camps, is costly.
Does 'world' mean every person ever born? What happened to those in Noah's day? Lots?
Why aren't all saved B McCausland? What prevents them from eternal life John UK?

No delight taken in bringing up what you defend JohnUK. A point was being made, in doing so it sailed over your head. Many of your own comments over time testify to your 'looking down' your nose at others here, so remove the log from your own eye before you point to the speck of others.
Some resort to quotes and creeds to shore up their views, but the word of God is the only authority. Revelation 5:9 proves Christ's blood purchased some, not all, 'out of' the marketplace of the world. The blood of Christ cleanses from 'all' sin. 'redeemed' from the Greek 'agorazó' - defined as 'to buy in the marketplace, purchase'. What He purchased became His own personal possession. It wasn't just a possibility - In the Greek, 'agorazo' in the indicative mood, which means -'the action or the event as something real or certain, in other words as an objective fact.' There are many other texts, but that one sufficed.
Rather than answer why it is all aren't saved, quotes from questionable men are trotted out, as though their views override the holy word of God.

"The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies." Psalm 25:9,10

The Lord doesn't teach error.

Concerning the new birth,
"A man does not have to be born again in order to be religious; he may be infatuated with religion, and be a zealous devotee to creed and ritual; he may be taught to observe most rigidly forms and ceremonies, and to subject himself to the strictest discipline; to mutilate his body and deprive himself of all earthly comforts; to yield perpetual obedience to priestcraft; to pray three times a day and give tithes of all he possesses; take up the sword in defense of his religion, or lay down his life in testimony of his zeal; but except he be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. A man must be born again in order to receive Christ, or embrace His doctrine in truth and reality...As man enters this world by birth, just so he enters the kingdom of God by birth; and as his birth into the world was contingent upon things entirely outside of himself, so his birth into the kingdom of God is contingent upon things entirely outside of himself. This birth is “not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13 ~ H.M. Curry

Another instance of 'out of' is found in John's Gospel, " "I pray NOT for the WORLD, but for those Thou hast given Me out of the world" (John 17:9.) IF God loves all and died for all, why would the Lord of glory make this distinction?
Do take note, He is praying for those God gives 'out of' the world, not every single person ever born. "but for those Thou hast given Me out of the world"- meditate on that truth.
"And not only so,but WE also joy in God through OUR Lord Jesus Christ, by whom WE have NOW received (not, "accepted,” and it is in the past tense.) the atonement." (Romans 5:11). In the English of 1611, the words "receive" and "accept" have distinctive meanings. A "gift" is given and received. If it is never "received," then it was not given. It was only "offered". If something is "offered:” it may be accepted or rejected. To illustrate: "To as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God." (John 1:12.) In this case, He was the "gift of God" and they had "received" Him internally. They did not "accept" Him because
He was not "offered" to them. -- Stanley Phillips - https://www.mountzionpbc.org/Old%20School%20Baptist/HYPER-CALVINISM%20(FULLER)%20(SPURGEONISM)%20BY%20STANLEY%20PHILLIPS.pdf

Again, responding with quotes from fallible men does NOT hold the same authority as the word of God. You are tap dancing B McCausland.

Christ was the propitiation, that means appeasement. God spent ALL His wrath on Christ, there remains no more wrath. So, if He died for 'all' then hell would be empty. It isn't is it? Who was He the propitiation for?
Rev. 5:9 'Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because thou wast slain, and didst redeem US to God in thy blood, "OUT OF" every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.' Does anyone read that text? "OUT OF" means what? ALL?
Redeemed - to purchase, to go to market, buy
IF Christ purchased the souls of sinners by His blood, why isn't the transaction for 'all' complete? Does the blood of cleanse from 'all' sin or does it not?
IF He purchased ALL, why aren't all saved? What prevents it?

"I realise that so many prefer to paddle in the shallows, but oh what joy there is in going further with God, and getting to grips with bigger issues. It also shows growth, when what appears to be a simple thing at first, is actually very deep." says the one who can't discern ecumenical errors or mysticism!

"A hypocrite is someone who spends their life pretending to be more righteous than they are. A Christian is someone who knows they have no righteousness of their own but whose righteousness is found in Jesus Christ alone" from Scott Price - https://www.facebook.com/pg/DamnableHeresy/posts/

A hypocrite preaches one thing, and does another. ... The word hypocrite is rooted in the Greek word hypokrites, which means “stage actor, pretender, dissembler.” So think of a hypocrite as a person who pretends to be a certain way, but really acts and believes the total opposite.

How can one be 'born again' yet cleave to error? Defend ecumenists? Defend RCC mystics? Arminian theology? Be double minded?
'And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save "HIS PEOPLE" from their sins.' Matt. 1:21
'But he was wounded for OUR transgressions, he was bruised for OUR iniquities: the chastisement of OUR peace was upon him; and with his stripes WE are healed.' Isa. 53:5
Who do the pronouns 'our' and 'we' refer to? The whole world or the elect of God?
Does the bible contradict? Are we to follow Christ or J.C. Ryle? Spurgeon? Pink? Or any of the 'giants' of the 'Reformed' religion? The 'Arminian' religion?

Personal insults usually result when you cannot prove God's word wrong. Quoting fallible men and giving a 'thumbs up' to their errors proves one loves men more than the God they claim to believe in. Being born again means you have a right understanding of the core foundation - how and who Christ saves. If you don't , your house is built on sand. Your attempt at diversion is of the Devil.

Rather than respond with ignorant childish rhymes, answer the questions presented in my last two posts.

Ryle makes the same mistake many Arminians and Calminians do, assuming 'world' means every person ever born.
Christ did not die just to make salvation possible, for IF He did, what prevents ALL from being saved? What does their 'possible salvation' hinge on?

So, how is one born again? How does one hear, understand, perceive spiritual truth? How are they able to comprehend truth, and if they cannot, what is that indicative of?

Did Christ die for 'all' and does He love 'all' Adriel? Can you be a 'little bit' wrong when it comes to God's truth concerning the atoning sacrifice of Christ?

It seems you hold dear to fallible men and creeds more than the holy word of God. That is exactly how error creeps in and becomes accepted. Men and women defend their 'heroes of the faith' even when that hero teaches falsely.
J. C. Ryle on John 6:32, 33, 51:
v. 32:
“It is a very remarkable saying, and one of those which seems to me to prove unanswerably that Christ is God's gift to the whole world - that His redemption was made for all mankind - that He died for all - and is offered to all . . . . Fairly interpreted, the words mean that in some sense or other the Father does actually give the Son to those who are not believers. They warrant preachers and teachers in making a wide, broad, full, free, unlimited offer of Christ to all mankind without exception.”
Ryle, Expository Thoughts on the Gospels (1856-73; reprinted Grand Rapids, 1900), Vol. III, p. 367.

The UMC traces its roots back to John and Charles Wesley and holds to Wesleyan theology, which is rooted in Arminianism.

Darren, Be wary of J.C.Ryle, for he was double minded, " “Christ is...a Saviour for all mankind....He did not suffer for a few persons only, but for all mankind...What Christ took away, and bore on the cross, was not the sin of certain people only, but the whole accumulated mass of all the sins of all the children of Adam....I hold as strongly as anyone, that Christ's death is profitable to none but the elect who believe in His Name. But I dare not limit and pare down such expressions as the one before us. I dare not say that no atonement has been made, in any sense, except for the elect. I believe it is possible to be more systematic than the Bible in our statements....I dare not confine the intention of redemption to the saints alone. Christ is for every man...I repudiate the idea of universal salvation as a dangerous heresy and utterly contrary to Scripture. "-Ryle, Expository Thoughts on the Gospels (Grand Rapids, 1900), Vol. III, pp. 61f.

IF you are 'born again', then you would have a right understanding of God's truth concerning soteriology.
Unless you are 'born again' you cannot 'see' - meaning 'understand' spiritual matters. That is the evidence of who is in Christ and who isn't. If you don't have the foundation right, nothing else will be thereafter...

"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." Luke 6:26

Doesn't matter one iota what other men say, if what you teach is contrary to the word of God, you are a false teacher. Twisting scripture is what Satan's minions always do; God doesn't love 'all' nor did He die for 'all' for if He did, you would have to rip Psalm 5:5, Malachi 1:3, Romans 9:13, John 10:11,15, Matt. 20:28, Matt. 1:21, among other texts, out of your bible.

Being 'reformed' saves NO ONE. There is much error in Reformed theology. Man made camps are filled with man made theology.

"Depart from me, I never knew you" - how could Christ love those He never attached Himself to? There never was a time He had any emotional or spiritual attachment to these religious professors....ever.

"A text without a context is a pretext for a proof text."

The pristine Gospel of sovereign grace is not understood by many. This is an excellent message - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJJ-ybzd7wM
