Great Sermon! A great sermon which sheds much needed light on a topic that can leave many souls in confusion that at times lead to a believer's separation from the true doctrines of Jesus Christ. This information is vital to your understanding of the Bible's manuscripts and how God divinely preserves His Word through the ages and each generation. It helps reveal to the Christian that his or her spiritual battle is also against the worldly and demonic winds of doctrine that have cut through unto the spiritual bodies of certain denominational churches by subtle means of changing God's Word over time much like the serpent beguiled Adam's wife during the time of sin's first entrance into the world of man.
Char wrote: My parents work for Bluewater. My mother is completely horrified that there have been death threats, temper tantrums and all sorts of rude and nasty behavior from those claiming to be Christians, over this. Every time anyone around me hears about the hate mail and abuse involved, the first thing out of their mouth is "well I hope it's not coming from the Christian side!" and then there is this great shock when the reply is "it is..." ... and right now so-called Christians are now stooping lower than anyone else. It's frightening to think of the damage done and you can only pray that people are able to see that no true Christian could ever excuse such behavior.
Excellent comment.
Sadly, distribution of Bibles in schools is near pointless as they wont be opened and read if "Christians" conduct themselves with such self-rightoeus, hypocritical, murderous hearts.
Same often applies to these forums too. Lord have mercy.
Great Sermon! I wanted to say I'm getting a lot out of listening to your sermon on Revelations. I've spent less time looking at this part of scripture than any other, and I find it helpful that you've made these messages available.
Finding no way to email you, I also wanted to encourage you to take a Biblical look at the "Satan" doctrine. If you can provide me with a Biblical basis for a fallen angel from heaven, please do so. Isaiah is often misquoted, "the star of the morning", which is talking about King Nebuchadnezzar. There are a few other Biblical examples often used to promote the "Satan" doctrine, but for the sake of space I will leave it here and say feel free to email me in these regards. Thanks for the great sermon!
Great Sermon! Philippians 3:3 was mentioned in this sermon, and that was a blessing. However, I was a little confused at the end. Is he saying that anyone who doesn't believe in predestination is not a real Christian?
Amen! I'm so thankful to God for the preaching of men like David Cloud. I was very worried about the sins that I had done willfully when I knew they were wrong, and was very afraid. This sermon cleared up a lot for me, and from it, I come yet again to the conclusion that I can trust my soul with Jesus without any worry whatsoever. How foolish we can be in doubting the power of what our Lord accomplished on the cross. We are safe, secure, forever. Praise God!
Changed My Life. God used this sermon to radically change my life. I have never been impacted by a message like I have from this one. For the first time in my life I became truly broken before God, as I saw the intense evil and selfish ambition in my own heart.
Thanks be to God for Jesus Christ and the Cross.
