By this you mean "Trump's government" since you clearly hate his guts, even though most other Western govt's have done no better. And it wasn't conservative "squares" who popularized drug abuse in this country during the '60s. The difference today is, it affects people on all sides because of cultural rejection of the Biblical idea of self-control.

Great Sermon! Ladyday,
Are we to understand that the grace of God has caused you to distance yourself from this man, to the extent that you appear have earned your salvation? It seems that a person understanding grace would not condemn another.
You apparently listened to more than one of his "dirty songs." Why more than one? And what difference does Christmas make? Where in the bible do we see gatherings to celebrate Christmas?
Your righteousness may not be from Christ judging your overly critical spirit re Prince.

@Angela Praising God that He drew your cousin also to Himself. I follow your blog regularly and am blessed by its contents...may the Gracious Lord continue to bless you and your witness to us weary and worn pilgrims. Your grateful sister in Christ. Thank-you not only for your prayers, but also for your encouragement and comfort. Keep running the race....
@Angela Wittman... Oh how your post concerning your cousin tore at my heart. I too suffered at the hands of ungodly males in my family. But...God in His Love, Grace, and Mercy healed my broken spirit. He also gave me a godly husband who has been most supportive. When I read the Duggar article, all those memories came flooding back. I too pray for the victims....the scars are deep!

He mentioned this very thing about signs of renewed racial tension and violence between the white and black as it was during the civil outrage in the 50s&60s. Along with weather changes, christian persecution, churches losing their tax exemptions and christian organizations and much more that I see beginning to happen. I, too, found myself reacting to comments that were not very christ like, to those that were really over zealous with their comments but never owned up to it because they ere right and I was wrong so in their zeal they were setting me straight. I just laugh at it now and try to absorb the hurt and let the Lord in His wisdom handle it for me.
Dolores, we cannot, we cannot lose. Yet we are all in the same boat of frailties. Let the righteous smite ... it shall be a kindness. All things are for our sake. Isn't that great? All things are for our sake. Allow, as much as lies within you, conform you to 1 Corinthians 13 and behold the Lamb. The world models the church which is to be God's witness and signpost. Joy in him for all things. May God's Spirit be with yours.
This is not to discourage you but to have you consider who and what we are in this world. E.g. the Christian.
Christians are not called to "causes." Let the âworldâ do what they are naturally inclined to do. And let the Christian do what was commanded to do. Causes are just like Christmas when individuals from every walk of life get together like ONE BIG WORLD under the dominion of darkness. Or, like Democrats and Republicans. You cannot make a distinction. Besides the Christian is told that our battle is the Lordâs and our battle is not with flesh and blood. Our weapon is mightier through the proclamation of the Word of God, living lives worthy of our calling, and through prayer. The crowd calling out for the crucifixion of the Savior was a mixed multitude; the immoral, amoral, and moral, and the religious; but none being necessarily righteous. Some ignorant believers get mixed up in almost anything. This is why a deep understanding of Godâs eternal purposes are important; which comes with teaching doctrine.
[AUTHOR]John UK[/AUTHOR]I'll have a crack at this one. [/QUOTE]Isn't Judaism what Jesus was up against during the days of his flesh? Wasn't this the group that joined Rome to crucify our Lord? Do Christians have ties to Judaism? Where is it in scripture?
