If they are to keep all this color nonsense up we are going to have to set some standards. For example use something like the APHA color scale to definetly distinguish a person as black, white, Asian, Latino, etc. But if you are one who feels one color is superior to another you are going to have to either continually change the standard or start some sort of color supremacy movement to keep the inferior colors from watering down your particular flavor.
Or we could accept we are all one race and love each other as GOD intended.
"....equating black people to primates, not nice ... ever play donkey kong? they use gorillas, apes, monkeys a lots, ever see the movie King Kong..."
Sorry to create a issue but I do not think of people with darker skin when someone mentions a primate because I do not believe that those with more pigment in their skin evolved from some ape. I believe in one race....the human race!
"...but they spend their lives fighting against something they claim doesn't even exist..."
You are exactly right! They cannot convince themselves GOD does not exist and it pricks their conscience anytime he is mentioned so they want all references done away with.
"....when your police force starts to buy armored personnel carriers and riot ...."
And who pays for this gear? You and I do! Federal grants are awarded to purchase this gear as most police depts I'm familiar with do good to make payroll each month.
Maybe counties / states should go on record saying that since marriage is a religious term they will no longer issue marriage licenses but rather only record contracts as govts normally do. If a couple wishes to marry they can consult the church of their choosing.
Americans need to wake up! Today it's the homeschoolers, then the Private Christian Schoolers, then it will be the Secular Private Schoolers. It's all about control!
I agree! Go into a church with your 1st and only wife along with 3+ kids and see the reaction! If you really want some raised eyebrows tell them your wife's passion is the home......and if you mention homeschooling, oh boy!
Research the facts on Hovind and you'll be shocked. He never refused to pay taxes but rather challenged the Govt and the interpretation of the law. He was very open and forthright about his actions. What did this get him? Armed officers surrounding his house at night and taking he and his wife out by force in the middle of the night. Much more to this story! Hovind was making someone very nervous!

Yes....and they leading others astray by the thousands!
But don't lose sight of the fact that not every one has had the privilege of hearing sound doctrine. In other words, I've meet folks that genuinely thought they were doing right by following someone like Olsteen. You have to lovingly point them to the fact they we must check the Scriptures for ourselves to validate what "leaders" say.
We have scripture and Man's interpretation thereof. Likewise we have the Constitution and mans interpretation thereof. In other words, the constitution is a sound document but where we are having issues is it's being twisted to meet men's agendas!
Yes ... I too enjoyed Mohler's comments. He identified a problem with our "leaders". They say too much on the front end of a situation (facts not known) and far too little on the back end (facts known).
SBC is a diverse lot.... Be careful about labeling all boards as heavy handed. My experience has been much different with the Pastors running the church and the board always going along in whatever direction the Pastor directs.
Strat wrote: People oppose home schooling for different reasons, strangley enough it is not anybody else's business if people decide to home school their children, public education doesn't like it because it is competition, the state doesn't like it because they do not get to indoctrinate children with the state as god propaganda for several hours a day to produce loyal, obedient, complacent and compliant drones "Christians" oppose it because it represents a separation from the world they are so in love with and feel they may get some negative publicity by reason of association.....home schooling is good and the right of every parent.
Yes!
Christians must realize the 1st step is to get rid of the Homeschoolers. Once that is illegal the next step will be outlawing the Christian schools. You think wild stuff is taught in public school now!
