Good points
Which ties in with the poisonous influence of "cessationism", that God really doesn't do the supernatural today, like is written about in the Bible, a defacto (if this is the right term) prohibition against of even looking for Him to really be there, in His manifest presence, in your life.
You've just demonstrated that you don't understand cessationism.

Sorry to you "huh" for not responding to your question. Let me attempt to do as
.
See James this is why you or anyone else can't just throw out Bible verses as "proof" because none of the verses you quoted say that God predetermines the action of everyman, nobody is saying God doesn't work in circumstances and individuals to specifically work His will, like the virgin birth for instance, what no verse says is that God foreordains every action of every person and you can't produce one in your response, it will always be a specific person, people or circumstance.

SOUND DOCTINE WROTE:Tell me does Satan ever bother to attack the Baptist church or does he not need to?

Brother all denominations are under attack. Everything that pertains to The Lord Jesus is under heavy attack and it's only getting warmed up now

I wish I had a nickel for every time I spoke with some who continuously use verses about fellowship, dicipleship, etc. and mistaking them as for verses about salvation. Note; you must be saved first before you can be a diciple. Salvation and works are two totolally different things. It's funny how so many act as though they're a theologian but can't even understand what they reading.

Even though were saved we still sin everyday in thought, word and deeds.
It's the Holy Spirit that's within that can not sin.

I pointed out in verse 13. That says he is. You keep pointing out that his heart was not right with God. There's plenty of born-again beleivers who's hearts are not right with God. Meaning they're living in the flesh and not in the spirit.
Also yes the devils do believe, but remember that salvation is not offered to them.

Simon and Lot both have one thing in common. They both lived in the flesh but both were justified by there faith.

I thought we were saved by Grace through faith, not by our fruits?

Verse 13
Then simon himself believed also:and when he was baptized, he continued with Phillip,

That's saying he was saved. The problem with simon is he was a sorcerer.and he tried to buy the gift the apostles had through the Holy Spirit for his own advantage.

Better yet, Kirk could instead of trying to discuss fornication and adultery, he could instead give the gospel and try to lead some of the lost in the church's to Christ. To be honest there are many who sit in church every week and still don't know Christ, it's sad.

I always see these videos of preachers holding up signs at college campuses refering to adulterers, fornicators, and homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of heaven but completely fail to present the saving gospel. How stupid for a professing christian to tell someone they're going to hell but never tell them how to be saved. Just plain stupid, maybe it's because they're lost them selves

Or better yet, they could just put there faith in trust in the finished work of The Lord Jesus Christ and receive the the free gift of eternal life. Sounds like a better idea to me.

John Yurich wrote:
On a Democratic Party discussion forum I told a homosexual man that unless he repented of his homosexuality and embraced Jesus as his Savior that he would be going to Hell for
all eternity.
Is that the only sin he needs to repent of? Why didn't you tell him to repent of all of his sins then embrace Jesus as his savior?
