Unprofitable Servant, Why don't these Scriptures apply, again? Num 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. Psa 26:5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. Psa 82:2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Psa 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Psa 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. Psa 101:4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Pro 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Pro 15:9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Pro 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD: Pro 18:5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. |

Justin Ty Me, You believe Obama's a Christian! Do you think he's done good job?! All Cruz has done is point out his harmful policies, nothing about hate! |

Frank, The proof of salvation is all in one's fruits. Neither Hillary or Obama have the fruits of a saved Christian when they support abortion on demand, gay marriage, etc. Cruz, on the other hand, does have the fruits of a Christian. He has fought unashamedly for life, and he opposes gay marriage. As President, however, he would not have the constitutional authority to have the Federal government decide the marriage issue. Our Constitution gives that authority to the states. He can and will, however, remove the supreme court decission on gay marriage, because that decission was unConstitutional. He will also fight to stop abortion. When he speaks about God, he is humble, and it shows he is truly a believer. |

Frank, Show me the verse where it says "if your wife doesn't stay at home you're unsaved"? Different people are convicted differently on this issue, and just because some people understand a matter differently than we do does not make them unsaved. I, for one, believe women should stay at home, but I can understand how some may have differing understanding on passages such as this:Pro 31:10-31 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her |

Pro 24:24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: Pro 25:5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness. Pro 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring. Pro 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Pro 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked. Isa 5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! 2 Samuel 23:3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. |

Christopher000 wrote: Inferring that US may be of the mindset that he discounts the Old Testament, considering it irrelevant, was pretty disturbing, JayJay. I know you tried to craft it around a few verses, but the air of the comment was snidely accusatory, inferring a disregard and disdain for the whole of the Old Testament.. I am not JayJay. We have already cleared that up on another thread. And I was not accussing Unprofitable Servant of disregarding the OT, I said that was one of the few ways to argue, imho, that the verses I quoted do not apply. I also said she could argue Trump wasn't wicked. Those were the only two arguments I could think of that could be used to argue the verses don't apply. Unprofitable Servant may very well have a different argument, but I couldn't think of one. And thank you! |

Unprofitable Servant, 2 Samuel 23:3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. What part of "I change not" do you not understand? Psa 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. 1Pe 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. All of Scripture applies! 2Tim 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. |

Isa 57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Jer 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee? Jer 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. Hab 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. 1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 2 Samuel 23:3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. |
