John Yurich USA wrote: Baptists who's teachings come from the Bible have no problem celebrating the Birth of Jesus on Christmas and the Resurrection of Jesus on Easter because they are not insane and they are guided by the Holy Spirit. If one who claims to be Born Again does not celebrate the Birth of Jesus and the Resurrection of Jesus then they are not guided by the Holy Spirit. John I disagree with that comment. How can the Holy Spirit guide you to celebrate a pagan holiday. No matter how you wrap it up its still pagan.Sadly many church leaders know this in my country but are afraid to lose numbers in their congregations and worse still some even dress up in red and white suits every December to entertain the kids. |

Erik wrote: We worship on Sunday because it's the day Christ arose, the first day of the week. I'm glad you know Sunday is the first day of the week Eric. According to the world Sunday is now the 7th day (ISO standardization) Maybe in 20 or so years 1st day sabbatarians could actually read Ex 20:10 and believe it. We ought to worship in spirit and truth, but tinkering with God's sabbath day is not worship. Has the fact that Christ rose from the grave on a Sunday made it holy day ? |

GsTexas wrote: Paul preached on the first day of the week (sunday) so I guess he is a heretic too. No, you can preach on whatever day you like. And preaching and meeting together on any given day doesn't make it a Sabbath day. Paul knew what day was the Sabbath. |

Darn ! I just signed up for an 18 month phone contract. No, really if someone keeps settings dates maybe one day they'll be right. Providing the Lord doesn't return before May 21 2011 I'd like to hear Mr Campings excuse this time. |

lyn wrote: Phoenixbrew-For starters, there is nothing 'gay' about homosexuality. This way of life is filled with drug and alcohol abuse, jealousy, sexually transmitted diseases, mental anguish, multiple sex partners, the list goes on and on. The shock isn't over the sodomites themselves, it is over someone who claims Christ and then turns around and rejects the precious Lamb of God for a perverted lust. For all who do so, this is your 'best life'. This is as good as it gets for someone who rejects Christ, and His atoning work on the cross. I have no hatred in my heart for homosexuals, nor do many who post here. Their perversion is what is an abomination to a Holy God. Because God hates sin, we who belong to the Lamb hate sin as well. I praise God He saved me from this horrific perversion, by His grace and the precious blood of the Lamb, I am forgiven and cleansed of my filth. There is a price to pay for all who refuse to repent of their sins and submit to Christ's authority, and the day of judgment is fast approaching. May God have mercy on all lost souls. Some Sodomites & Gomorrahites are already "gone"; as some have ALREADY "given (themselves) over" to demonic/devilish lusts: unless a MIRACLE of REPENTANCE & FAITH in JESUS CHRIST From GOD INTERVENES ! |
