"Conventional wisdom is that COVID-19 has caused thousands of deaths in the United States and nearly 1.5 million worldwide. This perception has been directly challenged by a study published by Johns Hopkins University on November 22. Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master’s degree program at Johns Hopkins University, critically analyzed the impact that COVID-19 had on U.S. deaths. According to Briand, the impact of COVID-19 on deaths in the United States can be fully understood by comparing it to the number of total deaths in the country.

According to the study,** “in contrast to most people’s assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming. In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.”**

Wait, what? Really?

That’s what it says. And, it should come as no surprise that the study was deleted within days." from https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2020/11/27/johns-hopkins-study-saying-covid-19-has-relatively-no-effect-on-deaths-in-u-s-deleted-after-publication-n1178930

Sister MS,

excellent recommendation. Brother Guyo is a faithful preacher of the true Gospel.

Tim, I know both sister MS and myself have other sermon recommendations if you are ever interested...

Exactly Tim, when we see the types and shadows of Christ in the Old Testament, we can see more clearly in the N.T. our High Priest who lives to make intercession for us. The 'burden' to constantly do something is lifted when the mind is opened to what He has already done to save His sheep. This is when true rest comes, then we cease from our labor, our dead works. We repent of those dead works, God gives us this mind change. We no longer practice the religion of Cain, whose sacrifice was unacceptable to God, the 'mystery Babylon' religion that is works based. Our 'acceptable sacrifice' is Christ alone. It's never Christ plus what we think we do. So, the legalist/conditionalist will scream 'antinomian!' because they fail to see His finished work as the ONLY 'propitiation'/satisfaction for sin. It's joyful to see God revealing all this!

Amen! HE finished the work, HE redeemed His people, HE keeps them. The Father is satisfied with the Son, that's ALL He sees...the 'FINISHED WORK' of His Son

Yes Tim!! A hearty amen. I don't know a lot about him either, but this quote is spot on. "look to the Lamb of God, and keep continually looking unto Jesus, and not at your repentings, resolutions, reformation, praying, reading, hearing, or anything of yours as forming any reason why you should be accepted, pardoned, and saved" that's it!
Keep looking unto Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith. Rest in Him! Thanks for sharing, this was a great blessing

Sermon:
As in the Days of Noah
Bill Parker

comments
“ Great Sermon! ”
Most excellent sermon Bill. "What he is saying, the emphasis here on comparing the days before his Second Coming to the days just prior to the flood is this. It was man’s extreme attention and preoccupation that people give to the ordinary things of this world in every day life. What he is talking about is in Noah’s day men and women have become so taken up, so consumed and so enamored with these things of ordinary life, the things of every day life that are not evil in and of themselves, things that are earthly endeavors, earthly goals that we neglect and ignore and deny the eternal matters of God’s grace in Christ, salvation by him, the Lord’s Second coming, his judgments. In other words, people in Noah’s day were just so consumed with raising a family, making a living, entertaining themselves that they just didn’t really listen to that old preacher named Noah. That is just not really my concern. That is just not really that important. That is just not life and death. I have got a job to go to. I have got a family to raise. I have got children to entertain. But a flood coming? Well, I have got 120 years. That is what was going on. Eating, drinking, just like we eat and drink. Marrying and giving in marriage. But ignoring the warnings of Scripture." Sad but true...

Fauci told a congressional committee in the spring:

“I must warn that there is a possibility of negative consequences where certain vaccines can actually enhance the negative effect of the infection,”...
As explained by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., founder of Children’s Health Defense:

“Scientists first attempted to develop coronavirus vaccines after China’s 2002 SARS-CoV outbreak. Teams of US & foreign scientists vaccinated animals with the four most promising vaccines. At first, the experiment seemed successful as all the animals developed a robust antibody response to coronavirus. However, when the scientists exposed the vaccinated animals to the wild virus, the results were horrifying. Vaccinated animals suffered hyper-immune responses including inflammation throughout their bodies, especially in their lungs. Researchers had seen this same “enhanced immune response” during human testing of the failed RSV vaccine tests in the 1960s. Two children died.”

It's best to stick with good nutrition and supplements to boost your immune system.

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. 2 Cor. 11

The great tragedy isn't a corrupt election, a corrupt Government, immorality, so on and so forth. Although ALL those things are bad, they are a result of man's fallen sin nature, his depravity.
Here's the greatest tragedy EVER..."I'll tell you where Satan operates the hardest...through false churches and false preachers" - Bill Parker
DECEPTION is the 'great tragedy' of this day, and of all time.

Great points HM. Another example, they treat high blood pressure with medication, which brings the pressure down but does not address the cause of the spike in bp. My friend, who is a retired RN, had hbp, she refused the meds, changed her diet and the hbp was gone. Nutrition plays a huge role in our health. Meds often times only put a band aid on the problem, not to mention the dangerous side affects of the medication. An example of that can be found in anti depressants, which actually bring on depression...

Well Frank, you and your buddy love calling others names, even though you both promote error, i.e., universalism, decisionism, and Arminianism, all of which proclaim a different gospel.
antinomian [anti - law] - a person who maintains that Christians are freed from the moral law by virtue of grace as set forth in the gospel.
From Websters - one who holds that under the gospel dispensation of grace the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation. - Actually, salvation is GRACE alone. Legalists are fixated on sexual sin as being 'the worst', GASP! Yet, they miss their own abomination of self righteousness, ' look at me, look how morally pure I am!
The harlot, mystery Babylon is far worse. Spiritual idolatry is detestable to God. When He saves his elect **by grace**, they will flee sexual sin. But, not because they seem it necessary to be saved or stay saved. We know the letter kills, we know the law is simply the schoolmaster to drive us to Christ. We know God's standard is perfection, and we do not meet that. While you and your pilgrim continually try to exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees, the true Israel of God rest in Him, in His finished work. Imputed righteousness escapes you both... clanging cymbals abound here.

IF you are unsure of your faith, read your bible. Some here claim to be the source of knowledge, yet they are "clouds without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;- Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever."
It is unwise to listen to those kind, they are blind guides....

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/11/johns-hopkins-takes-article-showing-us-deaths-2020-no-different-prior-years-doesnt-fit-gonna-die-narrative/ - We reported yesterday how an article in a newsletter published at Johns Hopkins University showed that total deaths in the US have not increased dramatically in 2020 when compared to prior years. This article was taken down. The university could not let it stand: November 27, 2020 Editor’s Note: After The News-Letter published this article on Nov. 22, it was brought to our attention that our coverage of Genevieve Briand’s presentation “COVID-19 Deaths: A Look at U.S. Data” has been used to support dangerous inaccuracies that minimize the impact of the pandemic.

[Of course no mention of what ‘dangerous inaccuracies’ have occurred – just that they have.]" Excerpt from the article.

The truth is being told, even though the elitists think they have it all sewn tight.

You have defended, exalted, and sang the praises of Arminian Billy Graham, claiming many were 'saved' under his 'gospel preaching'. Doesn't matter to you he preached a false gospel. Graham's 'gospel' is based on the sinner's 'decision'. How does that fit into your 'tulip'? Then you exalted Madame Guyon, an RCC mystic, as well as Watchman Nee, another mystic. Now you have the audacity to scold someone you claim is defending something 'false'. It's hard to see one's own hypocrisy when they are blindsided by pride. Pointing judgmental, self righteous fingers at others when they are guilty of the SAME THING! Well 'pilgrim', here's the truth, "Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men' Isa. 29

Now we have a New Sensation,
A Calvin taught Arminian Nation.
These that do some Truth profess,
But in heart deny God’s blest – in Christ Alone our Righteousness.

Amen sister, I pray others will listen. The one thing the true believer understands is this, we have NOT arrived. We are always growing in grace and knowledge of HIM. This is life long, no need to be puffed up. No need to belittle, for by grace I am what I am. Until that is grasped by His revealing it to sinners, the religious will continue to exalt 'self' over others. The way is narrow, may God show His sheep this narrow way👍✝️❤️
