An independent baptist church is an option. But, often are led by a pastor OT 40 plus years and bequeaths his pulpit to his knucklehead son. But there are sound churches in the IFB and SBC realm, as well.

The woke generation has tipped over statues and books, bibles and churches with be next. Be careful, they are conquering and dividing give the current stupidity leading the SBC. When a few pastors wanted to establish a “ conservative “ brand of the SBC, JD Greer sneered off a comment on how the SBC was always conservative. The ground will open up and swallow some folks whole.

Uh oh. Does Mikey Weinstein ( “ my precious “) know about this? I bet Mikey “ Gollum” Weinstein can stop that practice on a dime. He’s able to stop military museums from showing displays of footlockers with boots, socks, skiveys and a battered Bible in the sock slot, He’ll stop church.

If it doesn’t affect you, then ignore the comments. This is what lost people do or act like. I’m a secondary sp. Ed, teacher, I’ve heard plenty of irrational, uninformed and intellectually disabled people make the same statement. They can’t tell their left hand from the right- nevertheless, don’t get hung up on them or the craziness of Jim Lincoln. I mean, can you imagine spending your day waiting to throw a zinger and a link to Dr. Tim all day? Man, some folks just need a job breaking rocks to be able to go to bed early.

This is not a situation to be taken lightly. If your city is stupid enough to do this to it’s own citizens, move,but buy everyone in your family a gun and teach them how to use it in case the zombies come knocking on your door with a kill list for counter revolutionaries.

“ Black lives do matter, now I agree with the premise just not the tactics “- J D Greer president of SBC.
BLM is a nation socialist organization much like the German nazi party in the 1930, same tactics. So horrible what TGC, SBC, and Southern Seminary has done. Within my own denomination I am reminded how when JD Greer’s boys came on the scene. One of the messengers overheard one of the young, restless and reformed acolytes say about the older fundamentalists in the denomination, “ we can either wait for these old folks to pass on or we can push them out”
What the southern Baptist’s needs is discernment.
What is happening now is heresy and that’s not discernment. Firing conservative professors and wrapping one’s self in the mantel of past conservative victory is much like ravenous wolves wrapped in sheep clothing. Lord, how this hurts your bride.
The liberal governance of the SBC is meant to push godly people out of the denomination. When you call them on it, the hostility is unbelievable. As a pastor said in a disciplineship meeting- if you’re here for the way we used to do things, either get on board with the new or leave. The liberals aren’t meek and mild , their out for scalps.

The evangelical church in America has run after Baal- I simply do not see any of this ending well. It appears that salami slicing is not just for the Chinese communists. Incremental steps to take away liberty for a price is alarming. My church accepted Covid salary protect. The federal government offered Covid salary protection in a very brief window. Meaning, churches had 72 hours to respond to a request and completion in a brief moment, We weren’t behind in bills, we had money to pay staff for over a year, budget was met and yet the financial committee felt if offered we needed to take the money less Covid start peeling away members.

As if training readiness and combat was not enough. Back in the eighties when girls first placed on combat vessels. Those deployed to the Mediterranean would have to stop in Siconella naval base to drop off pregnant girls. These problems will persist , including murder , as long as the military is coed and not built by a draft.

Our problem in American Christianity is that since the late forties, the American church has sought to change itself into a secular church. They ditch bible translations, for a easier more updated translation. Dumb it down to people who cannot or will not read. Our hymnals are gone. Enter a church and their in the back room hidden away.
Too make matters most grievous is the changes to my own denomination is ( SBC) about to take on a mega earthquake. Under the guidance of Southern Seminary in Louisville Kentucky and with southwestern seminary in Fort Worth, the desire to stop people leaving the denomination and for baptisms to increase, the SBC re elected J D Greer. The aw shucks, raise your iPhone if “ you’ve decided to follow Jesus “. JD was re-elected after broadening the tent for folks who act and look like they don’t care about heaven or hell. His coy , left tipping, leadership will finally cause a well deserved split. Hopefully it’ll be live on a zoom cast so when that unshaven mug of his watches over half the messengers leave he’ll act like the king singing “ you’ll be back” out of Hamilton.

Without causing a disruption to my anticipated afternoon nap- my children were introduced to the kjv , but settled on the nkjv. Both share an underlying text, though modernized and easier for young uns to memorize and understand. Take care and unplug.

Adriel, my concern is that the classic reformed denominations reformed themselves out of existence by the early 20th century. Anglican. Lutheran , Methodist and Presbyterian all collapsed at the end of World war 2. Now the SBC is headed the same route.

Jim, the top down approach would have best be served if the doctors were even close to being consistent. Since January, Dr. Fauci first said he did not think the Wuhan virus would spread to the west. That changed when it wrapped around the nation twice The mask (wearing it or not ) has not been proven to stop the spread of Covid but has now has become an edict. Look at Europe as your model, they shut down before we did and suffered per capita the same way. In NYC, Mr. Paragon of political brain power, Mayor Cuomo, stuffed Covid positive elderly patients back to nursing homes as a measure to contain the virus. Or the 65% of all Covid patients deaths , were infected while at home. Experts aren’t so smart.

And since communism disrupts the family, they will support homosexuality, transgenderism and pedophelia in the west- much like the American Episcopal denomination.
So the RSV was morphed into the ESV to address the “ gender neutral “ NIV., then supported by the young, restless and reformed who in turn, supported BLM, just not their tactics. Interesting. Once a communist, always a communist. Yes, a whole lot of Martyn Lloyd Jones would go a long way to disciplining the young, ridiculous and reformed.
