Mike wrote: Hey Jim, congratulations on success at drawing folks into discussing a news thread from 16 months ago. Now if you just mention the word "Catholic" in your next post, maybe we can discuss Jesuits and pedos for the next two hundred comments. If you look, Jim posted a link to yet another Pastor taking advantage of women in his congregation. Since SA didn't carry the new story, I think Jim wasn't wrongfully reintroducing the previous thread |

A mule is a mix from two different species, Horse and a Donkey. While it is infertile hybrid, it has been used for great honour1 Kings 1:32 Â And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king. Â Â 1 Kings 1:33 Â The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon: Â Â 1 Kings 1:34 Â And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Actually those above verses tell a congregation how they should handle situations of this type. This congregation fell down on their responsibilities. This so-called pastor certainly got off easier than he should have. He should have been out of a job--permanently! I cant believe the congregation kept him as well, with a standing ovation no less. |

1 Kings 19:3  And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.   1 Kings 19:4  But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.   1 Kings 19:5  And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. connor wrote: JuneAnnette, I'd just warn with the Jesus is Saviour site, the guy condemns Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, and others of preaching a false gospel, (when they don't) He twists Paul Washer's words, misrepresents John MacArthur's words, and accuses Ray Comfort that the logo for living waters has a 666 in it. He condemns creationist like Kent Hovind and Ken Ham, he doesn't believe that the earth is about 6,000 years old. Just tread lightly, I've read a lot of his stuff on the cults, it's good information, but as John Calvin said, "Zeal without knowledge...Is like a sword in the hands of a lunatic." I recommend Robert Morey (faithdefenders.com) James White (Alpha and Omega ministries) or even Answers In Genesis might have some stuff. He twists? Ive sent financial support to that site and if I remember the person graciously and thankfully responding was a special lady. I'm with JA on this one, the Jesus is Saviour site is actually quite fair in its critiques of the three letters Moderator Alpha wants me not to utter. I certainly don't agree with every article published on that site(who can?), but I feel the site owners are very sincere. I feel they are truly Christian |

Your statement is pure evilJohn 11:38 Â Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Â Â John 11:39 Â Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Â Â John 11:40 Â Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Â Â John 11:41 Â Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. Â Â John 11:42 Â And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. Â Â John 11:43 Â And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. |

Kev wrote: It's undeniable the Catholic religion impacted Islam. It is seen throughout the Quran: "Allah will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside Allah?' Yusuf Ali, in footnote 829 commenting on this verse says, "The worship of Mary, though repudiated by the Protestants, was widely spread in the earlier Churches, both in the East and the West." (The holy Qur'an, text, translation and commentary by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. 1872-1952, First published in 1938, 1973 ed., p. 280, footnote 829, commenting on 5:116) Rememberz peoplezMuhammed was influenced by Apostolic Churches in the EAST, not the West. Do you know why you are confused? Its because the all the Apostolic Churches adore Mary, not just your RCC bogeyman |

Christopher000 wrote: I always have good reason for responding occasionally, and it always has to do with the content, a point I want to make, a correction, or to pose a view someone may not otherwise see. Does this qualify as dialogue? I guess, but there always a reason for my madness...an end game. I've noticed over time that some stop talking to me for a while after which is silly to me because it's not like I'm shooting the breeze and talking about every day things, like the weather, or whatever. Any short discussion always has something to do with God's Word, yet that's a no-no? Not to me. Always short and sweet, but dialogue I personally find necessary. Did I ever tell you about my first date with Lil Red Riding Hood? |

Kev wrote: Steve Jesus armed them right before he left right? If they could only use swords by His word why would he arm them right before He left? GODs Covenant people were armed entering the Promised Land, but they always had to ask or wait for the authority to attack.Who can forget what happened after the people believed the evil report, were rebuked, changed their minds, & still thought they could attack? Numbers 14:42 Â Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. Â Â Numbers 14:43 Â For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you. Â Â Numbers 14:44 Â But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. Â Â Numbers 14:45 Â Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah. |
