However, I was not trying to address president Trump or his immediate family. Then there was a way more obvious target mentioned in the article--a Catholic priest.
That was the first thing I noticed too. I was giggling pretty hard when I saw so many here dog piling their adoration for the article

It was an instant classic

Hey Jim, congratulations on success at drawing folks into discussing a news thread from 16 months ago. Now if you just mention the word "Catholic" in your next post, maybe we can discuss Jesuits and pedos for the next two hundred comments.
If you look, Jim posted a link to yet another Pastor taking advantage of women in his congregation. Since SA didn't carry the new story, I think Jim wasn't wrongfully reintroducing the previous thread

A mule is a mix from two different species, Horse and a Donkey. While it is infertile hybrid, it has been used for great honour

1 Kings 1:32   And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.

1 Kings 1:33   The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:

1 Kings 1:34   And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon.

Actually those above verses tell a congregation how they should handle situations of this type. This congregation fell down on their responsibilities.
This so-called pastor certainly got off easier than he should have. He should have been out of a job--permanently!
I cant believe the congregation kept him as well, with a standing ovation no less.

He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself. Wounds and dishonor will he get, and his disgrace will not be wiped away. This so-called pastor was extremely lucky that the husband didn't catch up with him when he was enraged.
If you are talking about FL Baptist Pastor linked in your previous post, the husband did catch up to him with a weapon. However his adulterous wife intervened and begged him not to take his life

I wonder if the husband would have done things differently if he knew the Pastor would not just keep his job, wife and Church, but receive a STANDING OVATION from the congregation

She's a perfect example of the spoiled liberal types who have had 8yrs of Carte Blanche rule and immoral bliss during an OBama reign. Such anger because they're afraid a Trump reign just may take away some of the immoral privileges and power they've gained over the past 8yrs.
By the way, I have to say that I don't think I've ever seen a neck that long on a human being. : )
Don't think so

A US AG isn't capable of that level of insubordination and incompetence. The Trump administration must have instructed her to behave as she did. Probably not to make her look like a spoiled liberal, but perhaps the method to the madness will eventually come to light

Foreshadowing more bloodshed to come

When I voted Trump, I really thought he wanted less bloodshed, not more. I knew we were bagged and more conflict awaited when he chose Bannon as Minister of Propaganda

btw- The next conflict wont be a sissy war, bombing weddings and goat herders, and not a war where we lose more soldiers to suicide than to the enemy. It will be real

Elijah didn't hide out.
Ye know not the Scriptures
1 Kings 19:1   And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.

1 Kings 19:2   Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

1 Kings 19:3   And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

1 Kings 19:4   But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

1 Kings 19:5   And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

1 Kings 19:6   And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

The article says he was arrested for embezzlement from a State run Church, not for supporting religious freedom. Perhaps the embezzlement of 1.6 million was the type of religious freedom the Pastor was seeking?

JuneAnnette, I'd just warn with the Jesus is Saviour site, the guy condemns Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, and others of preaching a false gospel, (when they don't) He twists Paul Washer's words, misrepresents John MacArthur's words, and accuses Ray Comfort that the logo for living waters has a 666 in it.
He condemns creationist like Kent Hovind and Ken Ham, he doesn't believe that the earth is about 6,000 years old. Just tread lightly, I've read a lot of his stuff on the cults, it's good information, but as John Calvin said, "Zeal without knowledge...Is like a sword in the hands of a lunatic."
I recommend Robert Morey (faithdefenders.com) James White (Alpha and Omega ministries) or even Answers In Genesis might have some stuff.
He twists? Ive sent financial support to that site and if I remember the person graciously and thankfully responding was a special lady. I'm with JA on this one, the Jesus is Saviour site is actually quite fair in its critiques of the three letters Moderator Alpha wants me not to utter. I certainly don't agree with every article published on that site(who can?), but I feel the site owners are very sincere. I feel they are truly Christian

Actually that is a quote Steve from an Islamic commentator and if you will notice the part about east or west was referring to Protestants. The part that was interesting is that the Muslims even saw the idolatry of Mary then. It is very arguable that Muhammad saw the "trinity" as "mother" (Mary) "Father" and "Son". Which of course is a mistake and was and observation of Muhammad who lived on trade routes and came in contact with early Christians.
Can you show me from scripture where Mary would be idolized? I'm not confused I believe that the Muhammad was confused on Christian beliefs. From your Churches services could one deduct that Mary was to be idolized or from the scriptures?
The fact that Muhammad was wrong shows it wasn't inspired text and that in his time many did idolize Mary just as I see them doing today bowing down and praying in front of statues of Mary.
Muslims don't believe Jesus is GOD, so of course they wouldn't think Mary was worthy of RCC adoration as the one that gave birth to the Son of GOD. To them, Mary is more like a young Hannah without a human father for Samuel

Its also important to note the Nestorian Heresy also said Jesus wasn't fully GOD.

It's interesting that Loyola had a 'vision' as well, and it was in a cave - similar to Mohammed's 'vision'.
It would appear Satan does his business in caves...
Your statement is pure evil

John 11:38   Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

John 11:39   Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

John 11:40   Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

John 11:41   Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 11:42   And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 11:43   And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

I have not read the article. However, Mohammed consulted his sister-in-law about his visions in the cave. His sister happened to be a nestorian "Christian"--a heretic who gave him affirmation that the visions were from God.
The RCC was the force arguing AGAINST the Nestorian heresy that gripped Eastern Churches. It was Nestorian Christology that allowed Islam to spread in the East, certainly not the Trinitarian RCC

But I guess the bigots will believe anything to feed their hate, even if it means believing a group that wouldn't exist until 1532 created Islam. Their blindness makes em stupid too

It's undeniable the Catholic religion impacted Islam. It is seen throughout the Quran:
"Allah will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside Allah?' Yusuf Ali, in footnote 829 commenting on this verse says, "The worship of Mary, though repudiated by the Protestants, was widely spread in the earlier Churches, both in the East and the West." (The holy Qur'an, text, translation and commentary by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. 1872-1952, First published in 1938, 1973 ed., p. 280, footnote 829, commenting on 5:116)
Rememberz peoplez

Muhammed was influenced by Apostolic Churches in the EAST, not the West. Do you know why you are confused? Its because the all the Apostolic Churches adore Mary, not just your RCC bogeyman

Sounds great but its a long flight & I haven't been down under in years. I do have friends in New Zealand that I have been wanting to visit so this is quite a timely offer. Of course I wouldn't expect you to pick up the air fare to Christ Church too, just RT Chicago to OZ. How does Early May sound?

Otherwise, sure you can come on up to Chicago whenever. We can spend time on doctrine ya know, just you and me. It will be special time

I always have good reason for responding occasionally, and it always has to do with the content, a point I want to make, a correction, or to pose a view someone may not otherwise see. Does this qualify as dialogue? I guess, but there always a reason for my madness...an end game. I've noticed over time that some stop talking to me for a while after which is silly to me because it's not like I'm shooting the breeze and talking about every day things, like the weather, or whatever. Any short discussion always has something to do with God's Word, yet that's a no-no? Not to me. Always short and sweet, but dialogue I personally find necessary.
Did I ever tell you about my first date with Lil Red Riding Hood?

It's a surprise that any Pope would support Liberation theology since it bypasses the Roman Catholic Church/hierarchy often. So, Franny in many ways is attacking his own church. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's old pastor taught a form of Liberation theology, that there are classes of people that God puts above others. But Christ wasn't preaching a material Gospel, nor was he teaching another form of Liberation theology, Dominionism
]]http://dominion-theology.blogspot.com/ (The Deception of Dominion Theology). The Romish Church was the original "Dominion" Church.
Did you know Black Liberation Theology and RCC Latin Liberation theology had a showdown last week in Newark NJ? A Rev Miller from OH landed a right 'cross' during the forgiveness part of Mass to express his doctrine, auxiliary bishop Cruz is still recovering

Apparently, the RCC has been using its divine authority to hold up slavery reparation payments from the devil

Google it

Steve Jesus armed them right before he left right? If they could only use swords by His word why would he arm them right before He left?
GODs Covenant people were armed entering the Promised Land, but they always had to ask or wait for the authority to attack.

Who can forget what happened after the people believed the evil report, were rebuked, changed their minds, & still thought they could attack?

Numbers 14:42   Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies.

Numbers 14:43   For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.

Numbers 14:44   But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.

Numbers 14:45   Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
