It's not New Year's Eve yet. Didn't he pass NDAA when everybody was too busy partying on New Year's eve 2011? You know. That's the law that says that an American citizen can be arrested without warrant, imprisoned indefinitely without trial, without anyone else's knowledge and even be executed if he were merely suspected of being a "terrorist." (see FBI's list of potential terrorists) Ever since the Patriot Act this kind of stuff was piled on under the cover of darkness while we were busy watching football or attending our "Passion" conferences. It doesn't help when Christians are being turned into Romans 13 zombies that do not do the work of a Berean when it comes to they're favorite 'those who seem to be somewhat' pastors' distorted teachings on that passage that do not contain the entirety of the of the biblical witness regarding a Christian's true relationship to the government.
Personally I will console myself with the truths in Ps. 37 in regards to wickedness in government.
Psa 37:1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
Psa 37:12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
Psa 37:13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Amen!!!

He's probably into eugenics and mass population reduction like his arch buddy over at Microsoft, Bill Gates. These don't support "gay rights" because they actually believe in the equal treatment of sodomites or because they're intimidated by their influence. They want to PROMOTE sodomy because they know that sodomy kills people. Sodomy is just another means of population reduction to them, and that's what they want to see.

The Reformers and the Puritans taught that the seat of the papacy was Antichrist. That position still makes the most biblical sense. When and why did we do away with it? I guess we must be smarter than them.

Do you mind telling me what you mean in this "Romans 13 Cult" you are talking about?
Thanks
"Romans 13 cult" makes reference to those ministers and churches that teach
a variety of distortions of this passage that require unconditional or quasi-unconditional submission to the state. For example, many of the evangelical churches in Nazi Germany would have fallen into this category.

This is par for the course for anti Reformation Jesuits. From the outset when Ignasius Loyola founded it, to this day, they have been involved in doing the devil's work worldwide, both ecclesiastically and politically. Whether by works of benevolence or by political intrigue, their goal has been and always will be to bring about a reversal of the Protestant Reformation. Professing Christians(?) like Tim Keller and others, need to stop promoting Loyola's works and start renouncing their unfruitful works of darkness. I won't be holding my breath though.

So Graham shouldn't say what he said, though true, because he has planks in his eye, which Biblically speaking must mean America has only splinters in hers. Interesting. Gives a whole new perspective on the nation.
No new perspectives here Mike. But just for giggles, if you had planks in your eye and I had planks in mine, would I be able to see clearly to pull the planks out of your eye without pulling the planks out of mine first? Wouldn't I have responsibility for mine first, removing them thereby giving me clear vision to see yours so I can warn you of them. That's my point Mike, OK? Nothing unbiblical here. No new perspectives, on Paul or anything else.

If America was founded by Free Masons alone we probably never would have had a first amendment or a bill of rights as these would have presupposed freedom of conscience and other freedoms which were concepts that flowed from Reformation teachings. Free Masons, Illuminati and so forth despised Reformation teachings.
As for Billy Graham, while he may be right in what he says here, he really has no ethical right to say it insomuch as he has a few planks hanging from his own eye. 50 years of selling out the gospel in order to preach the gospel by promoting apostates and Romanists as Christians is sin. His next "message to America" needs to be one of personal and public repentance for these things. I, for one will not be holding my breath.

I asked years ago, why are we singing "Hillsong" songs in my church?" Next time I think I'll ask my pastor with my mouth instead of thinking it in my thoughts.

To be accurate, his words were "I would not support any illegal activity at all" in reference to Chinese laws prohibiting house churches and proselytizing. In other words in some cases we should obey men rather than God. Again, right into a Christ betraying, gospel selling out type serfdom. PLEASE PRAY for our faithful brethren in Communist China and I hope that they're praying for us here because I really wonder how well we would do if we were in their situation.

Dr. Paisley was a man of whom the world was not worthy!
Indeed, indeed!! What a loss for Christ's church! Would to God that an Ian Paisley be raised up in America. We rejoice at his triumphant entry into the kingdom. We mourn for ourselves and his loved ones at having lost him. Let us remember him for his bold and loving faithfulness to Christ and his words and to the souls of men!

I can't help but wonder how the Grahams can speak out of both sides of their mouths. Isn't their sidekick, the "pope", an ardent believer that "The Church regards with esteem also the Muslims. They adore the one God, living and subsisting in himself; merciful and all-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has spoken to men;" as quoted on the catholic website?
The Grahams have some planks to pull from their own eyes before they try to call the nation(s) to repentance or warn people that the end is near. they need to settle it that either the Gospel of Rome is the Gospel, or the Gospel of Liberalism is the Gospel or the Biblical Gospel is the Gospel, because they don't even try to differentiate between the three. If one believes that a man is saved by the atoning works of Christ on the cross and his righteousness imputed, obtained by the instrument of faith alone, then one should not, implicitly or explicitly, promote the Pope of Rome or the Bishop of Canterbury as somehow being the spiritual friends of Christians.

So sad that the RCC is MORE Biblical in this way than many Protestant Churches today."
Steve, I think it's wrong to continue giving John little nuggets of affirmation by defending the system he holds so dearly because he's shy. Every time you defend the church of Rome, you're condoning and strengthing his position, in his mind, because it makes him think you agree that there's no reason for him to come out as a born again Christian. No matter how much you hate everyone, you know that the mass itself and aligning oneself with the false doctrines of Rome while claiming to be a born again Christian is to defy the very God you claim to embrace.
Thank You. Well said. Rome is already making enough orthodox sounding statements to pull the wool over the eyes of the unsuspecting,1192 and needs no help from the well-intentioned evangelical.(or us for that matter)
