Great Sermon! Very explicit. I am blessed. I remember my first contact with calvinism was the Sovereignty book by Pink. It was an interesting read until the misinterpretation of Romans 9-11 and the definitions of world and all struck me as utter misinterpretation. At that time, I didn't even know that that was what it meant to be Calvinist, that I was reading Calvinist doctrine, But still I screamed my way through some of those chapters on election. I believe in the Sovereignty of God in His eternal plan and Everyday dealings with us, but I also firmly believe in man's free will in moral issues and matters of the heart and conscience. The scripyure says God can harden hearts of men, but I realised that there is a difference between 'can' and 'will'. He will not harden the heart of a person who would otherwise have sought Him, simply because He wills that all men be saved. He hardened Pharoah's heart to accomplish His purpose because Pharoah was already evil on his own and 'knew not Joseph'. God does not tempt anyone to do evil, we are tempted by our own lustful desires already in our hearts (Jas 1:14-15)
Terrifying Truths I’ve always been unclear on the unpardonable sin. I thought it was always more about calling the works of the Spirit works of evil. Seems that is just a symptom or sign of such depravity. I’ve never heard the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit been made so clear. When I would ask, Jesus would say that I haven’t crossed the line or come close don’t worry about it. Now this is being revealed to me in due time. PNR.
The Word of God Dear Brother, thank you so very much for sharing another message from the Word of God. I would encourage all people to take time imbibing the Word. Hear the Word and believe the Gospel of Salvation in this life before you stand in judgement before the Lord Jesus in the next life.
Great Sermon! I never tire of reading and hearing about real revival...not a man made presentation with a choir, worship band, power points, and a group of ministers who have to use crowd psychology, and charisma to psychologically convince people to come to the altar. Imagine what would happen if we all took this to heart, instead of just saying Great Sermon! Does not the Lamb who was slain deserve the full reward of his suffering? If 4-10 prayer intercessors from each county could commit to this prayer twice a week...to pray until God came down, imagine what would happen? We wouldn't need to hand out tracts, knock on doors, have the goats fill out questionnaires to find ways to bribe them into church. They would be rushing the church as if their lives depend on it, as it in fact does. Let's all try to do whatever we can do to pray for God to step down. It is one thing that we can all do, my brothers and sisters.
DC Comics: Superhero Arm of Warner Bros DC Comics has been owned by Warner Bros since 1967. The Warner Bros Company, though recognized for its creative arts, is also known for marketing occultism, meaning that there is not much of a difference between Warner Bros and Disney, even though they are different companies. The same can be said of DC and Marvel. Even though the superheroes and supervillains of comicdom are imaginary, there were spiritual abominations called Nephilim, and they are mentioned in Genesis 6:4. This sermon is very helpful because it takes the super out of superheroes and supervillains.
A Look At The Disney Company The Walt Disney Company has been marketing apparently occultic art since 16 October, 1923. Not surprisingly, Disney just acquired the rights to Lucasfilm, the company that produces the make believe Star Wars Universe with its impersonal and pantheistic "Force." Walter Elias Disney (5 December, 1901 - 15 December, 1966) was no doubt a talented artist, but he was not a saved born again believer given that he espoused occultic beliefs. The real problem with the Disney Company is not that it is talented in creative arts like impressive orchestrated scores, but that it markets occultism as a form of art when the occult is regarded as an abomination in Deuteronomy 18:10-12. It is time for us to turn away from make believe kingdoms like the Magical Kingdom of Disney and start advancing The Eternal Kingdom of Israel.
Great Sermon! While I disagree that this passage isn't referring to angels, the amazing way that this passage can be preached to warn against intermarriage may be one of the strongest arguments against this alternative position.
Excellent sermon! Keep preaching the word.
