Great Sermon! Amen! Wonderful message! Gives the correct view of our eternal justification in the sight of God by the imputed righteousness of Christ!
Compares the correct Protestant reformed view with the Roman Catholic view of justification and sanctification.
Great Sermon! Amen! This is one of my favorite messages from Romans chapter five and our eternal justification in the sight of God!...Really wonderful! What a great assurance of salvation this is to know!
Great Sermon! Amen! Hear this great sermon! The truth is made clear for all to hear in this wonderful message. This is a comfort to know and understand.
The truth is made simple when once God opens your eyes!
DJC49 wrote: So, *Michael*, who exactly are these "rest of the dead" mentioned in Rev 20:5? Are these "REST OF THE DEAD" saints? And if they are NOT saints, then what are they doing having a part in "the first resurrection?" I ask this because according to the very next verse (Rev 20:6), "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection." PLEASE explain what's happening here. Pre-trib/pre-mill Dispyism is very, VERY confusing to me! Thanks.
The rest of the dead are the wicked dead. They are not part of the first resurrection. The first resurrection was of the just. (See Luke 14:14.)
If you want a very full answer to your questions, I have attached a link to William Kelly's very learned and helpful commentary - but perhaps you are willing to dismiss this on the basis that he is a mere "Dispy," no matter how learned and godly he was. But just in case, ]]Revelation 19 - 22.
