The problem is with the parents not the PC. The parents in this article make it out like they are helpless to stop their kids from playing on the computer and then they throw their hands up in dispair. What the parents should be doing is rigourisly enforce time limits, and its quite easy to make computers shut themselves off after a set amount of time or a router to only allow internet access at certain times of the day. The problem here is having no discipline and letting the kids rule and do whatever they want.

No, college is not the "destroyer of Chritain belief". It is just the last cut in the tree after 12+ years of steady chopping by the public school system you attended since your parents dropped you in day-care at the age of 2. Like the Bible says:
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"
Same can be said if you train a child in the way he shouldn't go.
