I think it's refreshing to see the Sabbath being remembered by "someone" for a change! After all, GOD made the day holy - and there's nowhere I've read where He's made it UNholy! (Except for some of the Romanist writings). It might be ready to be critical of this one team perhaps, but rather than focusing only on them, perhaps some people may actually be caused to think about the one true GOD that sanctified the day in the first place!
Watch the new movie at TheBirthControlMovie.com. You'll see that birth control comes from someone other than our God! The Christian view on this has evolved with the world. We have seven children and they are a blessing that will be provided for. We have a God who promises this!
Bad form, Geus! You would do well, Geus, to check your information before you start calling people liars. You are fortunate that the good man who runs this site does not have the time to read and filter all public comments, for if he did, it would be your slanderous comment that would be removed, and you who would be blocked, not Cy. Beside which, your quarrel is with scripture itself. If you were to read I Thesalonians 2 you would see quite plainly that the inspired, inerrant Word of God calls the Jews killers of the Lord Jesus. It may have been through the instrument of the Romans, but again, if you were to read the Gospel accounts of the crucifixion, you would see that the order came reluctantly from Pilate. Only at the Jews' blood thirsty cries of "Crucify him, Crucify him!" did he finally relent. I believe you owe Cy an apology, and you ought to be much more careful about accusing people of sin in the future, lest you commit it yourself.
Arthur and HaveYouNotHeard, you're right on track. And from another perspective, that of the lost souls we are discussing, we do them no favors by not telling them the truth about where they stand with God. Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17). Although they all "have a right to their beliefs" (a true statement which has often been confused with the possibility that more than one conflicting belief can actually be true), exercising that right will not bring them to heaven without saving faith in Christ. So it is our responsibility TO THEM to NOT become wishy washy waverers when it comes to standing on the truth as taught us in God's Word.
