Quotes and Persons, Sounds good, though I don't know that you're fully understanding this. Incrementalists are not for idly waiting for abortion to end, incrementalists are for bombarding abortionists with legislation untill they can no longer survive, and are so tied that they cannot lay a finger on a child. This is a good thing to be doing while we work towards a complete ban on abortion. Some are trying to do both. Anyways, it's been a good conversation with you! Have a blessed Lord's day! |

Quotes and Persons, Good to see you here! I must say, Willberforce did incrementalise. I understand you wan't to see the abolition of abortion, I do as well. Sometimes it takes incrementalisation to end an evil as popular as slavery or abortion. We are fighting an uphill battle, and there are to strategies by which to take abortionists on: 1. Try to totally abolish abortion with one peice of legislation, or 2. Incrementally suphocate it by regulating it to death. I believe we should have people fighting from both fronts. By voting for a legislation that would save children who fall into a certain category, you are not at all supporting the taking of life. Rather, you are supporting the saving of the lives that would be saved by such legislation. Just imagine a bus full of children hanging off the side of the cliff. If rescuers formulate a plan that will save the children in the front of the bus first, are they supporting the death of the children in the back? No, they are saving part of the children in the bus first, and then they can continue to save the other children still in the bus. That is the approach that incrementalists are taking. |

THBCC, On go the babelings of the insane! First of all, stop calling people "whores". I don't care who you're talking about, it's not appropriate to post on a Christian forum, and it's particularly hypocritical seeing as the man you're supporting has been with plenty of them! It isn't neccessary to do that, and think about the Christian families who come on this site. Do you really need to use such crude language, including talking about candidates nether parts? Second of all, the conspiracy nonsense is getting pretty anoying, especially since you're always talking about the same ludicrous yarns! Try talking some sense, man! I know it may seem difficult, but just put one foot in front of the other, and soon you'll be walking out the door! Just thinking. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Canadian Cruz Phil Johnson wrote: ...America’s moral decline has accelerated dramatically since evangelicals became politically aggressive in the late 1970s....First of all, Cruz is not a Canadian, he's an American. But some people just don't want to get that fact, so i understand. You'd rather to continue spreading falsehoods rather then hearing the truth. That's okay, if that's the way you must be. And your second statement reminds me of something some people have tried to tell you before: Hmmm, so you say that Christians aren't to be involved in politics, and we shouldn't allow our leaders to be Christians, yet you complain when the unregenerate, unwise God haters are foolish? What do you expect when Christians are absent from leadership? Anyone who denies God denies reason and wisdom. You keep talking about the "secular arguments" for a number of issues, but the truth is, all arguments seperated from God are arbitrary. No moral absolutes can be guaranteed when puny man is put in the place of all mighty, all powerful God. Why should we expect anything short of foolishness from our politicians if they deny reason and more importantly God? |

THBCC, Ha, Ha, Ha !Well, If A Man's Politics Is An Extention Of His Religious, Moral &-Or Ethical Views; Then The Theology Of Donald Trump Is: Lies, LIES & MORE LIES ! Self, selfishness, and greed! Abortion, murder, and eugenics! Corruption, flexibility, and spinelessness! Money, riches, and wealth! Prostitutes, married women, and affairs! He, himself, and him! Donald Trump is still the front-running Republican socialist/communist, who wants government involved in healthcare, in education, and in housing! Not so with Mr. Cruz. P.S. Cut out with the conspiracy nonsense, Tony! |
