Thanks for the link brother! The below is a cute and paste from the link:
Like the council, Chick-fil-A has promoted traditional Christian values, such as marriage being limited to a man and a woman.
But a 2017 tax filing showed Chick-fil-A donated to the SPLC, which still lists the council as a âhate group.â It also gave money to Covenant House, a homeless shelter that is pro-LGBTQ; YWCA, a pro-abortion group that partners with Planned Parenthood; the Pace Center for Girls, another pro-abortion group; and the New Leaders Council, which says it promotes âa more progressive political and cultural landscape.â
Nancy Pelosi is a typical political catholic. She does what satan wants her to do and thinks she is serving Christ. But, most donât realize that she and most other politicians actually believe what they are saying.
Anyway, in the end the following will happen. Instead of the usage of synagogue think of the body of Christ.
John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
Matthew 24:9 Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name.

All right I will respond here, but no follow-ups.
There is no one on this forum that believes the catholic church worships the same triune God of scripture that Christians worship - NO ONE. You do, so in my mind you are not in the faith. Since I don't consider you to be in the faith, the only time I will normally respond to you is if I think your parroting comments might confuse someone.
In the RCC, there is no salvation outside of the catholic sacraments, so they do indeed worship a different Christ.
We are all getting used to reading about this extreme persecution that is taking place against Christians throughout the world. True Christianity has always been hated by all those not in Christ.
And just think; our Christian responsibilities are to love our neighbors and preach the gospel to all those not in Christ. Our goal is never to harm anyone.
Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Well, I have never read where the pope has said that he hates God and desires to serve satan. And, I have never heard of the mormon church saying they are worshipping satan. And of course I could go on and on. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it is probably a duck. If I only frequented places that I truly believed were Christian, then I would be homebound.
Hillary and Obama have both said they were born again Christians. The only way we can personally discern the truth of that in our hearts is to âjudgeâ their works which would obviously include their social donations.
Now for clarification. I have never believed that Chick-fil-A was a Christian organization. I have always liked their food and in my area they have an extremely friendly staff. If someone decided to boycott this organization, then I would disagree with that, but would understand and support their decision. IOW, there are certain businesses that I boycott.
Each of us view these things differently. Therefore I want to thank all of the below posters.
As most know I am not into politics. IOW, all politicians are liars and simply pander to their base. Their success, fame and wealth become their gods.
But within that political total depravity; there are levels of depravity. The democrats are so morally corrupt that I believe it is impossible to vote for âanyâ of them and then claim salvation; they are that extreme. All democratic candidates support abortion on demand; homosexual marriage; and feminism to the extreme. Republicans typically will put at least some restrictions on abortion; IOW, they talk about regulating this murder. But, the below applies:
"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the motherâs life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the motherâs illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."
I often refer to most (not all) pastors as hirelings. Sometimes I catch some flak for saying that, but this article is a good example of what motivates me. IMO, this Greear fellow loves his church position more than he love Christ. To me, that simply makes him a PC hireling. Whatever we esteem the most that is what we are worshipping. This fellow is on record for saying one of his goals was to âcall offâ the culture war. I have never thought of Godâs word being defined as a culture war? That could easily mean that an issue can be looked at one way in our society/culture, but differently in another. We have allowed culture to define scripture instead of scripture defining culture.
Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Now, Lighthouse Trails has learned that at the August 15-17 2014 gathering called âThree Rivers Festival of Hopeâ in Pittsburgh, PA, Franklin Graham (who led and organized the event) brought in Catholic Bishop David Zubik to give the opening prayer on stage with the large audience. During the bishopâs prayer, he acknowledged his belief that Protestants and Catholics are all part of the same church.
While Grahamâs public stand against homosexual marriage and his work to help the poor and needy is commendable, his giving a thumbs up to Roman Catholicism is moving the church closer and closer to complete apostasy.
âThe question we have at Lighthouse Trails is, which Jesus is Franklin Graham sending these people to when he sends them to the Catholic Church for the sacrament? We believe the answer to that is âanotherâ Jesus as the Bible warns will happen (2 Corinthians 11:4).â
All of the above are cut and pastes from the link. I would like those who accept Graham and count him in the faith to ask themselves the same question about the pope. The pope also says he is serving Christ. Is he then in the faith? I don't understand the difference?
As described by Smith and his team, Moralistic Therapeutic Deism consists of beliefs like these: 1. "A god exists who created and ordered the world and watches over human life on earth." 2. "God wants people to be good, nice, and fair to each other, as taught in the Bible and by most world religions." 3. "The central goal of life is to be happy and to feel good about oneself." 4. "God does not need to be particularly involved in one's life except when God is needed to resolve a problem." 5. "Good people go to heaven when they die."
The above is a cut and paste from a previous SA news item.
If someone inserts the name of Christ into the above, then IMO that is Grahamâs theology and Chick-fil-A's cultural position.
Well it is clear what our heavenly Father thought about homosexuality â Sodom and Gomorrah.
And it is clear that all those who practice or promote this abomination and do not repent, will suffer the wrath of God.
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Well Jim, I have an alternate plan. Perhaps we should give universal healthcare so that people wouldnât steal, murder or sell and use drugs? If universal healthcare removes a financial burden then perhaps those things would go away. No, here is a real alternate plan that would work pragmatically.
Make abortion illegal and prosecute all who participate for murder.
The few women that would have an illegal abortion would likely end up being injured. I remember what they referred to as back alley abortions or self abortions.
Or, here is Godâs plan. Donât have sex until you are married.
At the moment of conception, the embryo is undeveloped but fully human. Since you support/promote the murder of these innocent lives, you are just as guilty as the abortionist.
Yes, you do repeat the same things over and over. Since no one has agreed with you over the years, why do you do it?
The Quiet Christian wrote: Amen, Frank. I'm with you, Brother, and rally appreciate your wise comments. I was forced to scale back or at least change how I displayed my Christian witness when I was in the Service. It's a fact of life today. Ephesians 6 gives some solid advice for dealing with bosses, and our witness can come thru various forms including just doing a good job when others aren't so anxious to get it right. Yet to have your Bible on your desk is as unobtrusive a witness as anything. And if it causes such chaos, then that's the world around us, not us. But we do have families who rely on the provision the Lord brings thru our hard work.
Yes, the Lord knows each and every thought and intent we have and we will never fool Him.
He knows when our love for our wives and children come before Him and cause us to sin and he knows when our careers come first.
IOW, He knows our hearts and that is an immense comfort to me.
When I was young, I always kept a bible on my desk at work. I looked for and took every opportunity to witness to someone and even when it started to become unpopular I refused to stop. But, in todayâs business climate I have no doubt that I would have been fired.
I often wonder whether or not I would have been as strong, if my financial future had depended on me towing the line and denying my Lord and Savior. He knows! I will never know and as I get closer to the end, I simply thank my Lord and Savior for the grace He gave me.
I often think of the martyrs during the inquisition. They were hanging on a stake and being set on fire. Iâm sure they were looking out at their wives and children who would then be on their own.
The only reason I have ever gone to Chick-fil-A is because their food is good, relatively cheap and the staff are very friendly.
Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
I have never imagined that Chick-fil-A was a Christian business or was owned by a Christian.
