I'd like to add this scripture which speaks of Jesus,the Light; "That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." (John 1:9 KJV) ..every man... "..so they are without excuse:" (Romans 1:20 KJV)

Excellent message from Dr. Francis Schaeffer that is not only a look into how we got to where we are today, but what we (the church) must still do to preserve our religious freedoms. May God help us and may He continue to bless the memory of Dr. Schaeffer.

The good fruit of the sermon of the late pastor, Dr. Kennedy, is still fresh, and the message of grace is timeless. Regarding indulgences, Psalm 49:6-8 KJV comes to mind. "They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption."
