I am happy to announce that as of this past Sunday, we have completed all tests and are officially no longer relying on third-party logging systems! The performance is vastly improved, and we have much better control over how stats are gathered. By God's grace, I believe we’re now in the best possible situation with our massive stats overhaul!

We are 40 days into the official process of transcribing the entire backlog of millions of sermons on SermonAudio, using AI tools for accuracy and our own fleet of local GPUs at The Vault for privacy.
For some time now, we’ve been auto-transcribing all newest sermons—over 8,000 new uploads each week! But in addition to that, we’re now expanding our efforts to transcribe the entire library of sermons, spanning decades. According to our calculations, we're averaging about a month's worth of preaching every 24 hours, so it'll take a bit of time to complete. It’s pushing our machines to their limits, with the fans roaring at full throttle (and the room temperature continuing to climb!)
This initiative will ultimately allow you to "search-within" sermons, so you can finally search for spoken phrases WITHIN your entire sermon library instantly. An incredibly powerful feature is coming soon!

Enjoyed our Staff Christmas Dinner as we conclude 2024. It was a big year for us. 2.0 site rewrite took center stage, along with stats rewrite, app rewrite, television rewrite, transcribe-all, multi-site Vault expansion, and audiobook initiative. Next year will be even bigger.

Over the past few days, our full senior development team has conducted an in-depth review of our entire stats-gathering system. This has led to extensive work across all aspects, including audio, video, and webcasting. We’ve significantly enhanced internal controls by reducing reliance on third-party logging systems, resulting in much-improved performance. I believe we’ve now reached the best possible solution.
In the coming days, we will focus on tying up loose ends, documenting internally, and conducting thorough testing. We sincerely apologize for the past issues related to stats. While perfection with stats is unattainable and bot activity will remain an ongoing challenge, we are confident that we are now operating from a far stronger position.
Stats are inherently complex, so we kindly ask for your patience. Rest assured, we’ve been working diligently to improve this system.

What you are about to listen to is historic. It’s the first ever audiobook from the works of John Knox. Our team is aggressively working through his entire works, and it’s an extraordinarily difficult process of scanning pages, updating very Old English, correcting, and voicing for the modern listener.
Everyone knows the name John Knox, but has anyone actually listened to his sermons? We are giving voice to these great treasures, and they can now be freely heard for the first time since the days of Knox himself.

Today was bittersweet as it was our last official staff lunch meeting for the year. As we reflect upon the year, we do so with deep gratitude to the Lord. Our meditation today was to keep our focus on our love for God as our chief ambition, both personally and corporately.
