At today’s general staff meeting, we enjoyed hearing about the great work of our two BJU interns—Joshua and Caleb. Like their namesakes, the two faithful spies in the book of Numbers, may they likewise excel in faith and accomplish great works for the Lord.

It seems that almost daily we are bombarded with tech issues. Can God help us through coding conundrums? Yes. He created it all. As a technology company, we are unashamedly dependent on the Lord’s help even with technical challenges.

Please pray for us.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

— Psalm 90:17

Another day of significant development effort and victory.

  1. Continued progress on the revamped webcast architecture. Webcasts that land in The Vault, now write to upgraded high-speed local storage in The Vault dedicated to webcast activities.
  2. We've upgraded our primary storage server array in The Vault and it is fully operational with all new sermons flowing into it. Storage is hard because it's big and so it's a multi-step process, but we've tackled the big first step.
  3. Video-on-demand is a staple to SermonAudio along with audio and it has seen a key code change that will allow it to be more resilient.
  4. We've introduced a "Global IP" load-balancing layer for our new webcast architecture overhaul allowing churches to push more reliably to our SA servers in tandem with full integration with YouTube and Facebook.
  5. We are now processing year 2013 in our full-sermon transcription process as we retroactively plow through the entire library of 2M+ sermons.

Added POLISH language + translation to the Sermons app! Coming soon to the App Store with the next release of the Sermons 3.1 app.

NOTE: We add new languages to both our app and website when a volunteer translator comes forward to help us. It is not a completely automated effort. So, we're thankful for our new Polish translator volunteer!

Everything held up this Easter Sunday at The Vault—one of our busiest Sundays. Although the primary cooling failed, the backup cooling kicked in. Power remained stable. Webcasting and the sermon pipeline were running at full capacity. So very thankful.

4/20/25 - EASTER

HE IS RISEN!!

Mary Magdalene, once tormented by seven devils before being delivered by Christ, became one of His most faithful followers. On that first resurrection morning, she was among the first to arrive at the tomb at the break of day. While Peter and John came and then returned to the others, Mary lingered alone near the empty tomb, her heart heavy with sorrow and love.

Yet never was such devoted waiting on the Lord met with a greater reward. To her was granted the singular honor of being the very first to encounter the risen Christ. In her patient devotion, she enjoyed more than she could have possibly imagined.

Christian friend, don’t rush. Wait patiently for the Lord. You will meet the risen Savior just the same.

Just had an encouraging call this afternoon with astronaut Barry Wilmore (just back after 9 months in space!). He’s an elder at Providence Baptist in Texas, which broadcasts on SA. He watched their live webcasts every week from the space station—and that makes us happy!

It was a real pleasure to welcome Martyn Iles to The Vault on the campus of Bob Jones University as we shared with him our mission to preserve and propagate sound preaching for posterity. He told us how he would spend hours listening to preaching on the bus in his earlier years.
